 By now I did have did have a latch which was pretty heavy for this size of the knife, and it was the same same little.  It was, I think it was under 70, but yeah some life leave yeah 440c for the blade it's got a nice little top thin a lot of clippers. Call it a poun shape like harpoon, but it's a top thin harpoons are pointy sticks with a hook nice. So anyways he's got as you can see, it has hidden pivots and it does have hidden sentence yeah. So it has threaded liners that these three screws hold the scales down with, and then it's got flush hardware under that this is running on bearings

Nice Knife, But Overpriced and I Had Some Flipping Problems

 It's extremely light weight, and the blade is excellent steel. Thankfully I was able to get to the important screw holding the blade and loosen the tension a bit. That and a couple dabs of oil and it flips open well for its weight, but didn't out of the box. No play on blade when open, but the liner lock is sticky to release (oil didn't help, its a pretty thin friction surface)

This review is for knife with Cocobolo wood handles.  I really like the knife, it has a good blade and the size is perfect. It's light and not bulky at all. Blade is sharp and is well finished

Good Blade, Horible scales

 I'm sure I could have taken it apart and lubricated the bearings, but I shouldn't have to do this on a knife at this price. Others have described that the blade flies right out. I'm not new to flipper knives. This one definitely did not fly out, and that was a deal breaker for me

I found that I did not have faith in the locking mechanism for the blade. Boker was willing to look at it and fix or replace it, but I did not think I should have to send in a brand new knife, and I think there is a fee for this in addition to the inconvenience

 Most importantly the Kizers blade is dead smack in the middle. This Boker although its a nice knife . It's not as smooth in its action and the blade is isn't exactly center. That bugs me

 The difference between the two is $40. The Boker being more expensive. I must say I wish I stuck with the Kizer. The Boker has the Kizer beat as far as quality materials go but here's my issue
