A great ski for progressing intermediate skiers that will speed you on the way to better turns and more fun.

The Blizzard Phoenix 7.2 is an awesome option for beginner to intermediate level ladies who want to ditch the hand me downs and get on their own pair. A composite sidewall offers torsional rigidity but allows the Phoenix to engage to the snow easier and faster, driving you into your turn. The composite core is perfect for ladies still learning their technique and driving into the ski thanks to the more forgiving flex. Get a ski that will make you better and help you progress with the Blizzard Phoenix 7.2.

 the Blizzard Phoenix 7.2. This is a really good ski for beginner

 to advanced intermediate. It was a really fun ski for me.

 I could ride this all day long. I felt really comfortable and stable on it.

 It transitioned from turn to turn really well. It held its long turns well.

 It did short turns really well. It's a good front side of the mountain

 kind of ski and overall I think it was a really smooth

 ride. It went over the bumps really well and I just felt really

 stable on it. It's really good for beginners.

For beginner/early intermediate skiers, some women's skis I recommend looking into are the Black Pearl 82 (it's heavily recommended and a best seller for a reason), the Volkl Flair 76, Blizzard Phoenix 7.2, the Head Absolut Joy. Out of those options the Black Pearl 82 would be the most versatile and would be the least likely to outgrow quickly.

I went to a highly reputable ski shop in the SLC area and really trusted the employee who sold them to me. When I got home, I started doing research and learned that the Head Wild Joy is an expert-level ski. Reviews I read included words like, 'not forgiving', 'technical', etc. I kept mentioning to the guy that I thought they felt stiff af. Turns out they are a 9/10 stiffness. 

Should I return them? Will they really be THAT hard to learn on? My wife absolutely loves them for the color.
