What I love about the unit is that it’s footprint is small, therefore not really noticeable. I love love view as I tested it out by watching my wife drive home from work the entire way. Video never cut out so if you’re in the U.S.A I would say spring for the LTE module.

Worked perfectly fine and then the 3rd month it just stopped working. Plugged the dash cam back into the car's 12V and the dash cam started right up, meaning the issue was with the power magic pro. Tested the fuses that it was plugged into and they were all fine.

The Power Magic Pro is easily removable for when your lease ends. You can set your camera (at least Blackvue) to save any recorded "events" such as impacts or motions it picks up while the car is off. And it won't record 24/7, it'll only record when it detects what you have set it for (I turned off motion detection, so it'll only record if it feels an impact).

Blackvue products with a Power Magic Pro is what I'd recommend. It doesn't record the entire time the car is off, but has motion and impact sensors that kick on while in parking mode.
