Has ski technology changed drastically in the last 10 years?

Boots and bindings have come a long way. I finally upgraded my touring skis this year from skis/frame bindings to a pair of Black Crows and Dynafit Rotation. I regret not doing this 3 years ago.

Intermediate Skiier, 6’3 250lbs, looking to buy a new all-mountain ski. Thinking 184-186 length, 88-92 Waist. Some options below, any thoughts / advice?

Avoid any black crows freebird skis. They are touring skis and won’t hold up as well when used exclusively inbounds. From your list the my top 2 choices would be the Salomon stance 90 or the black crows serpo. I wish the blade optic 92 had the same construction as the 96.

Enforcer 94 vs Black Crows Serpo

I haven't skied the Serpo, but based on specs/Blister the Enforcer 94 will be more damp, stable, composed at high speeds, while the Serpo is lighter, livelier, easier to maneuver. FWIW I think Black Crows are overpriced for what they are. You're paying more for marketing and pretty topsheets, not a superior product. Unless you can find them at a good deal.

(Discard the Serpo, you're right about Black Crows being overpriced and it's all because of marketing.). The Stance and M-Pro are pretty similar.

Ski Purchasing Analysis Paralysis

A guy I ride with all the time has the black crows as his daily riders. He put probably 30 days on them last season in all sorts of conditions and they held up really well. He loves them and strongly advocates for them.
