Then as you tip the ski on edge, you're getting good, long, effective edge when you want it. The Atris, like I said, just a lot of fun.

I think this is a really great all-mountain, freestyle-oriented ski that was a ton of fun to ride. A lot of pop on this ski.

How much do skis lose flex over time?. My first good pair of skis was the 2014 Black Crows Atris. I wanted a set that could do most everything and they are the best skis I've ever owned - backcountry, deep powder, even on a groomer day, they have always kept me on top of the snow and have been nimble enough to also have fun anywhere on a resort mountain.

I am looking for a ski that has a soft tip and tail but sturdy under foot, I would ideally want a ski over 105mm under foot. I am currently skiing the Black crows atris, it is 178.9 cm long with 108mm under foot. I am 5 foot 6 and 135 pounds. Thank you.

My daily drivers are Faction Prodigy 2.0x (98mm underfoot), my powder ski is a Black Crows Atris Birdie (108mm underfoot), my "go fast" ski is a Black Crows Vertis Birdie (87mm underfoot). I'm short (5' and about 125 lbs) and I ski in the high 150s low 160s range depending on the ski. I am a type III skier.

I currently ride the Black Crows Atris - 108 underfoot and 188 in length. It's a great ski and a ton of fun, but it feels like it might be a bit too much ski at times; specifically when I'm in the trees and need to be a bit more nimble; and when there's not as much snow on the ground.
