I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

It had the wonderfully satisfying gross-out factor, removing tons of dirt and oil that had accumulated overnight &#40;or that we missed while washing&#41;. It also gave our skin a unique cooling sensation that woke us up and made us feel invigorated, a sensation that we really appreciated. Our pores shrunk almost immediately, and we could tell that our skin was sufficiently exfoliated &#40;thanks to salicylic acid, which is often found in acne-fighting products&#41;, but it didn't get red or irritated. We like that Bioré is affordable and easily accessible.  
Unfortunately, after a few applications, our skin started to dry out and feel too tight. Looking back, the combination of witch hazel and alcohol is probably what made for the pleasant cooling sensation—but also probably what dried and tightened our skin. While using this Bioré product, we lost a lot of the softness that we'd gained while using the gentler Kiehl's, Klairs, and Heritage Store toners previously. First and last time I hire a "lawn care professional ".

This toner has been great for my skin. I like that when you apply it, it’s cool. Not tingling/ burning but cool and refreshing! After using it my skin doesn’t feel tight and dried out. Great experience so far!

I've always had problems with huge pores and witch hazel has been a life saver for me. It's pretty inexpensive and it has done wonders for my face.

It's there any legitimate ways to make your pores not as noticeable? I've seen "hacks" here and there and none work. Also, anything you can do without paying a fortune? 

I clean my face with warm water twice a day and moisturizer it every other day, I try to keep my hair out of my face.

Legitimate ways to make your pores smaller/not as noticeable?

So I did not realize this was so strong. It left dry peeling patches on my face after less than 1 week of using only one time a day and moisturizing. Maybe it's just not for my skin type but be careful.

Why didn’t I realize how bad postpartum pain would be? I did my fair share of reading about it and how I might feel, but for some reason it didn’t click. Now that I’m in it, I have a new respect for moms. I also don’t know why we don’t talk about it more. When people ask me how I’m feeling I know they mean well but there’s no way I can truly express how I actually feel to them.

Anyway, *here’s how I’m really feeling* cause I usually just say “Pretty good! Getting better every day!”
(I’m Day 5 postpartum):

-pain in my vagina and all those muscles, all the time
-hurts to pee (peri bottle helps and Earth Mama perineal spray is a lifesaver)
-constipated beyond anything I could imagine and tried everything (teas, tons of water, MCT oil, Restorolax, fruit smoothies)... I’ve gone once but it destroyed me, and now I feel like my butt is numb. It hurts to sit (bad cause I have to while breastfeeding). It also stops me from sleeping.
-severe back pain, can’t bend over and even walking or standing too long is painful 
-insomnia and obviously my sleep schedule is out of whack from the baby
-Breastfeeding is excruciatingly painful, from nipple soreness to breast tenderness (Earth Mama nipple balm helps after feeding, but during I am crying). Baby is latching well, I think it’s just early and a sensation I am not used to.

I have a supportive and hands on partner who is extremely empathetic but it still doesn’t make any of this go away. I am also madly in love with my new baby so yes it is all worth it and I know the pain is temporary, but can I still complain a little?

Please tell me how you are feeling, and I mean that literally. 

Also if you have any tips for any of my symptoms I would greatly appreciate.

Postpartum Pain... I had no idea it would be this bad

I have normal skin and it broke me out, unfortunately. Every other biore product works wonders for me but for some reason this one messed up my skin

Try witch hazel. Apply it to a cotton pad or ball and wipe things down. There are also gentler, non-alcohol toners that contain witch hazel as an active ingredient.

I have used the Bioré Witch Hazel Clarifying Toner for 5 or 6 days in a row now, and it has definitely helped make my skin feel less oily. I had a very stubborn pimple on my cheek for serial days before I got the product, and I used it twice the day I got it. The next morning, that stubborn pimple was barely visible! I did notice that my forehead broke out a little more when I first started using it, but that has happened with many products I've tried in the past. But with continuous use, I'm noticing that starting to disappear
