The UMC404HD has a pretty high output impedance -- 20Ω. 160Ω is the minimum headphone impedance you'd ideally use with it (80Ω for a less conservative number), whereas the KZ headphones have a load impedance of 30Ω. For comparison, the Apple dongle has an output impedance of ~1Ω, leading to an ideal load minimum of 8Ω. Something like the IEMatch might help if you really want to use IEMs with that.

Scarlett series (2nd gen) devices in the past but have switched to Behringer and couldn't be happier. Currently using a UMC404HD in my live rig and a UMC1820 expanded with an ADA8200 in the studio. Build quality is on par with the Scarletts and signal to noise ratio is actually better. Sure, there are interfaces with better pre-amps but for the money a UMC1820 will give you a lot of bang for the bucks.

To me, the interface that comes to mind for your requirements is the Behringer UMC204HD if you don't need many inputs or the UMC404HD if you want to connect more synths or drum machines. The full size MIDI, low driver latencies and low prices being features here. It will give you high quality balanced outputs for your monitors and a reasonable headphone amp too. The Scarlett line are similar in performance and also work fine but generally have a few less features for slightly more money.
