If your riding style is more all mountain than jibbing, you would probably enjoy the Bataleon Whatever more than the Blow. With other brands too, I would look for directional twins If you're looking to ride powder occasionally. Directional twins will be twin twin where they touch the snow on a groomer, so riding switch is no problem. But they have a bigger nose than tail so they can float a little better in the deep stuff.

Just purchased my first snowboard, the 2022 Bataleon Whatever. I learned after the fact about the differences between extruded and sintered, with this being an extruded board. I'm not on a budget or looking for a wallet friendly option, I just liked the specs/design.

I didn’t ride last season, but 2020 I rode a 161W Bataleon Whatever. Absolutely awesome all rounder board but felt it was a bit on the heavy side and it’s length and girth made it tricky to ride tight trees. Glades where tree spacing was >2m was awesome but any tighter than than was very stop-start as you hopped and swing the board around.

Currently, I'm riding on Whatever by Bataleon. It's 4-5/10, quite forgiving board, on not-so-fast extruded base.

Incredibly fun park board that can do it all when you want to explore the rest of the mountain. It is truly in the sweet spot of stiffness and playfulness with flex. This board can jump, spin, and fly. The 3D shaping of the nose and tail give it great float on our lucky powder days as well.
