All right guys like I said the Evil Twin is one of my all-time personal favorite snowboards.

As far as we're concerned, this board is pretty close to perfect.

Last year I picked up a Bataleon Evil Twin 154. It must have a really narrow profile or something. This is probably my 5th board and it's the first time I've had an issue with toe drag whenever I'm off the groomed piste.

I would agree that yes… 3BT is a little weird at first and yes the Evil Twin is fairly aggressive for a beginner… BUT this will be your first real board and that means no matter what, you’ll get used to it. And good lord… this is one of the most fun boards out there! The triple base is more catch free and forgiving than the majority of other boards out there which means progressing with triple base is going to make you a ton more confident through the early stages of riding and will help you progress quicker.

Capita boards are dope. DOA, Super DOA, Outerspace Living, and Ultrafear are all good options from there. Other good ones would be Salomon Huck Knife Pro, Bataleon Evil Twin, Arbor Westmark Camber, and the Burton Kilroy 3D.

I would suggest trying out a bataleon before purchasing, I bought a bataleon evil twin and sold it after a season, you'll either love the 3bt profile or hate it. It was fine in the park and rails, but the surfy feel was too loose for my liking when it came to high speed controls and gripping for side hits/carves. Some of the description you've given are contradictory as a mellow board is the opposite of responsive and stable board are often more stiff and less playful than soft boards.

Nice setup 👍 got a 159w 2020 Evil Twin myself last year to go with the 2014 Evil Twin I've been riding for years, great boards probs the best I've used, such good fun!
