Bafang BBS02 750

You can throw a bbs02 on any bike with the right bb. It's a great introduction to the possibilities of working tomorrow n and customizing your setup for electric power. Love the versatility of the bbs02.

My 750W BBS02 is more than adequate for my hilly area. I burn through 30 percent of my 48V 20Ah battery riding 24 miles with 2400 feet of total climb averaging 11 to 14 MPH. Power consumption is linear to distance until you exceed 18MPH and start fighting air resistance. On campus I would get an easily removable light battery that can be removed for security purposes.

Never heard of that website, but the BBS02 is a great kit. Personally I'd just buy from Luna for the peace of mind. You can still watch the cyclecharged videos. ; )

My 750 watt bbs02 is able to get up pretty much most hills and the only times I wasn't able to get up was due to my rear tire not having enough traction in soft sand. On the other hand, my 1800w rear hub bike would struggle to get up the same hills as the bafang and I would have to rely alot on momentum.
