 The GT2 clocks in at right around 10 kilos, about a kilo more than the original GT, which, after some research, seems mainly the result of the redesigned frame arms that we'll discuss more in depth later. Its folded dimensions are 25 by 79 by 53, which are more or less the same as the original, though there is a slight increase in length, partly due to the fact that it's no longer possible to fold the handle in quite as tightly. The weight capacity of the seat and basket have increased somewhat, to a maximum capacity of 30 kilos for the entire stroller, reflecting primarily the significantly increased size of the seat itself. The GT2's seat is larger than the original GT, and the canopy can be fixed to sit higher as well, making it more suitable for older children

 Baby Jogger's patented Easy Fold system has long been a draw to their models, and has always been one of my own favorite elements of their design. For those of you who don't know how it works, Baby Jogger's Easy Fold essentially involves pulling a strap on the seat, which causes the whole chassis to collapse around its central axis. This mechanism has changed a little bit with the GT2, in that on the original version, the safety feature meant to prevent accidental folding, involved a pair of extra straps that could be buttoned to the rear frame. On the newer model, a second strap has been integrated into the activation strap instead, and both must be pulled in succession in order to fold down the stroller

 The two factors I would suggest you consider though, if you're thinking about buying the GT2, are firstly, if you're watching this video in the beginning of 2020 and it's still possible to get the original GT for a discounted price, then I would go with that, because the changes are a mixed bag, as I've mentioned, and the original GT at a lower price is thus a much better deal in my opinion. Secondly, as has always been the case with the GT, the size and weight difference between the GT and the Elite is very small, and mostly has to do with the wheels. So if you're not 100% sure that the difference is going to be a deal breaker for you, then it's probably worth going for the Elite instead for its added off-road capability. We've already heard some criticism of this new method, and the reason for this is that most people who used earlier versions of the GT rationally deduced that there was no real way to accidentally trigger the fold anyway, and thus, by never buttoning the safety straps, it was incredibly easy just to pull up on the relief strap anytime when needed to fold the stroller. I agree that it is a little bit annoying that they have bypassed this shortcut, but if I'm honest, while I did prefer the activation method the way it was, the Baby Jogger Easy Fold is still a lot simpler to fold than most competing models

 Hi everyone, it's Shay from Fishbash Baby, and today we're reviewing the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2. So the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 is a really, really nice stroller, it's perfect for traveling, it's super lightweight, it only weighs 21.4 pounds, but it has a really nice weight capacity of 65 pounds. The handlebar is adjustable, which I really like, it is a two-hand adjust, so basically you just press these two buttons, and it adjusts this

 This stroller does have a near-flat recline, which is really good, all I gotta do is press down, and then, yeah, let it go, and there you go, it's near-flat, it's really good for a napping child. Again, one of the many benefits of the GT2. Alright, so the storage basket is really large, like I said, you can access it from the front and bottom, right now we just have the clips right now, the adapters, but yeah, going through it, really large, there's gonna be a clip-up, the wheels are really nice as well, there's three wheels, as you can see, it has all-wheel suspension, so it's pretty sturdy, and it does have a handbrake, so you don't have to worry about what shoes you're wearing or anything like that, just push the handbrake, and it's good to go. So it is partially compatible, which is really great, I think that, again, makes it a really great storage, makes it a really great travel system, it folds super easily, I think the fold is what I love the most about this stroller, I've mentioned many times, I sometimes really struggle with folding strollers, I just don't have the strength sometimes, so anything to make it easier to fold, I love, so you can imagine why, I love this stroller, it locks into place, and there you have it, it's folded, and it's nice, and it's so easy to carry with you, it's super light, like I mentioned earlier, it's super light, I'm weak, and then to unfold it, I'm just going to unclip it, unclip it right here, and right there, so it's super easy to use, super user friendly, it retails for $3

 Going over to this seat, you can see that you can rethread it, it can really grow with your child. Again, 65 weight capacity, it's a five-point harness, which I really enjoy, it's going to keep your child safe. And one thing that I also really like about this stroller is that it has an adjustable cast support, so it has an adjustable cast support, and you can also access the front, the storage boxes through here, so over here we have the adapter, again, I can access it right through the front, and then it snaps back right here, ooh. So it's really cool, I really like that, I think it's a cool feature, just to be able to access and then be able to lift if you really want to, so yeah

What strollers have people bought?  I am in the city and want something that will get me through the newborn time and also be able to transition for older babies.  I heard the first few months they need to be flat in a bassinet and then they can go up right.  Any strollers that satisfy both stages?  Do you always need to buy an adapter for the stroller?

Its okay

 The fold is one of the most outstanding and loved features about this stroller. It is so easy to do and it really does only take one hand. It's also nice and compact, so it doesn't take up much trunk or storage space. The only bummer about the fold is that it doesn't stand up on its own
