If you want something a bit better build quality and with more features, look at an Audient id4 or an SSL 2 or 2+. Focusrites are decent too (the 2i2 is around the same price as the Audient or SSL and solo sits between them and the UMC22 price wise), but the hardware on Audient and SSL gear is a lot better in my experience.

Audient iD4 or iD14 are a great option. Solid mic pres, headphone amp, and drivers for Mac/Win.

For larger sessions, I use the iD 14 and an 8 channel ADAT mic pre to expand the inputs.

While the Motu M2/M4 has the best all-round headphone amp from the budget interfaces, if you're only going to use higher impedance headphones then the Audient ID4/ID14 has a lot more power. Unfortunately, it also has high output impedance, so they're not necessarily suitable for headphones under 150 ohms. This information comes from Julian Krause's youtube channel, which /u/BartlebyLeScribe already mentioned.
