Need some opinions - which of these skis should I buy?

 This is the Atomic Advantage 90 Ti. Atomic's All Mountain Advantage series has been around for a few seasons now and the 90 CTI was always one of the really popular models in that and it's now been redesigned into this ski here. It's still 90mm underfoot so it's a real all-terrain ski designed to handle a bit of everything you can throw at it. It's got a pretty stiff flex with camber for stability underfoot and some rocker in the tip and the tail of the ski to improve handling so it's definitely best suited to quite an aggressive fast style of skiing

Your 104s are more than enough for most "powder" days in Tahoe. Regarding groomer skis, I would look at the high 80s to start, and here are some that I enjoy: Stockli Stormrider 88, Atomic Vantage 90 Ti, Nordica Enforcer 88, Blizzard Brahma 88. There are lots of great skis, but I can vouch for these as being great Sierra frontside skis.

When to go multi-ski quiver?

 This is not a ski that you're going to want to ski on a deep powder day or especially in like wetter powder. It's going to have a little bit of trouble rising to the top and it's not going to float as well. This is not a beginner ski. It's not a park ski and it's definitely not a powder ski

 This is not a beginner ski. It's not a park ski and it's definitely not a powder ski. I would say this is a great like everyday ski if you're going to stay in resort. You want to dabble between on the groomers, getting off groomers, try some bumps and then looking to progress

 I wouldn't take it in anything like belly button deep but for off-piste, varied terrain, anything to a groomer, bumps it's going to hold its own for sure. As far as dampness I don't think this ski is going to be super, super damp. You definitely feel the terrain under your feet because the stiff construction of it just gives way to that. This would be a great ski for someone on the East Coast who wants to be able to ski a little bit of powder when it happens but is really skiing in more firm conditions

 Atomic uses what they call pro-light construction. So we got an energy backbone in here and titanium tank mesh. That all sounds pretty fancy and it is some impressive engineering. So there are portions of the ski, namely right here in the forebody and right here in the tail of the ski, where it's exceptionally thin

 So when you make a move with your body, the ski responds quickly and efficiently, which I think a lot of high-level skiers, a lot of precise high-level skiers will really, really enjoy. It's also got really good energy and snap out of a carving turn. So when you're linking carving turns, that stiffness and the fact that the ski is kind of pretty darn light really snaps you nicely into the next turn. Now this shape isn't, you know, it's not geared towards soft snow, so to speak

 You have long effective edge, which some skiers will really like. Maybe others will want more rocker, but this gives you a really good snow feel, a really good connection to the snow, which you know, I think a lot of people appreciate and that's a big reason why this ski has gained a pretty strong following. I've had Atomic 90 ti and Ranger 102 FR, which I assume is similar to 94 FR but floatier. I felt that Atomic 90 TIs are light and almost touring ski-like.

I have looked at some skis lately, and I have been able to select 3 models, but I don't know which one is the most suitable for me. It has come down to the following: HEAD Kore 87 (size 180), FISHER Ranger 94 FR (size 185 or 177, i dont know which one) and ATOMIC Vantage 90 TI (size 184), all with MARKER Griffon 13 ID bindings. 


I am 185 cm tall and 75 kg, and I would call myself light advanced skier. I have a mixed use of piste and off-piste, and sometimes I like to hit a few jumps and tricks in the park, but nothing serious. Because I have such a mixed use, it is important that the skis have a versatile use, but still being playful and fun both on and off piste. Do you have any tips for choosing the correct ski, i am also open for other suggestions.

My budget is 4-500 euro, and the three skis I am considering are all on sale right now.

My girlfriend is in the market for new skis. We ski mainly on the east coast in NY and VT with an annual trip out west (Big Sky this year). She is a strong intermediate skier who mainly likes blue and black groomers. Any brands/ski types people would recommend to look into? TIA!
