Neither of these points is big enough for me to try to dissuade anyone from buying this bike, but these are basic flaws that I notice every day and if I'd thought about them at the time of purchase, I might have gone back to Schwinn.

A solid bike. A couple of minor improvements could make a big difference

 It's compact, it's a pretty good bang for your buck, and it definitely does the job of getting your heart rate up. I think especially when you compare this to other brands like Rogue, Rogue's got the EcoBike and that thing's a lot more expensive. I think this gets the same effect at a much lower price point. All right, so that does it for the review of the Assault Airbike Classic

 It would be really nice if they had some sort of quick release levers to be able to adjust that. So along the same lines, I think that the seat is just a little bit too wide. It makes it a little uncomfortable riding on this. It would be nice if the seat were a little bit narrower

 Then another kind of small detail, but something that kind of bothers me is the fact that I think that this center post that the computer sits on, it's slightly bent to the right. You can kind of see that the computer is a little bit off centered. It's not enough that the handlebars actually hit it or anything, but it's enough to be annoying to me. All right, and then the last thing I'd say is you can see here on the computer that you've got this spot, this little shelf to be able to put your phone, which is nice, that's handy

 We're in a one stall garage and space is always a concern. So this fits really nicely here in our space. So in contrast, we had the Concept 2 Rower previously and it's just a lot larger and takes up more floor space. Now sticking with that comparison to the Concept 2 Rower, the bang for your buck, I think is a little bit better on this AirBike as opposed to the Concept 2 Rower

I'm a 76 year old man in fair physical condition and have owned a Schwinn Airdyne since the mid 1980's. The Assault Air Bike is for the most part a quality product, well built and it certainly gives a good work out. Mine came with assembly included which was a bonus. I use the bike for Mike Mosely's "Fast Exercise" routine of three 20 second bursts and this machine delivers

Effective air bike, but...............

 I wish they had like a quick release lever on both of these sections and that way you could switch between users really quickly and that's the one difference with The concept too is it does have those quick release levers I'm also not a huge fan of the seat itself. I think it's a pretty wide Seat, I think it would be an upgrade if you just had more of a normal Bike seat there. Then another thing that may only be an issue on my bike but it's something that does annoy me is that the The center post here was slightly bent So you may not be able to see it here But it gets really close to this handlebar Which is annoying to me and I wish that that wasn't the case That wasn't the case then finally there are two things that would really make this bike great and the one Would be having a holder for your cell phone right up up top you see you can't put it on the screen or else you can't see the screen and Then the other thing was you don't have a water bottle holder So, you know, you're on this thing. You're dying

Bought the bike after reading the great reviews both here and on you tube. It is a great workout. But I found that it’s harder on the legs than the upper body, which made it harder for me to continue using it for longer periods due to my legs getting tired. Although it’s a great work out while Your using it, I found it not ideal for me as I’d prefer a longer work out to burn more calories that’s easier on the legs

Quality is fantastic - harder on the legs though.

Paid for a NEW bike, and received one that had been returned to Amazon

 Literally, less than 45 minutes from starting to open the box to having it put together and ready to go. (Full disclosure: A YouTube assembly video posted by the manufacturer was a great help, much more than just using the fairly minimalist instructions included with the unit.) Compare that to the elliptical, which took me all of a Saturday evening plus most of a Sunday afternoon to get together.  The bike has a small footprint, especially compared to the elliptical, and is light enough that it will be easy to move around when I need to clean around it
