ASRock X570 Steel Legend WiFi ax

Anecdotal, but I have ASrock x570 Steel Legend and it's been great. Good temps, lots of features, and the look matches my build. (The RGB software is garbage but I've been told that's true for pretty much every motherboard.)

First, ASRock's Realtek audio drivers won't let you choose outputs if you have multiple output devices connected. These will have good quality components but aren't overboard enough for LN2. Case in point would be the ASRock X570 Steel Legend Wifi AX. This board falls in the sweet spot of being good for everything, but not cheapened out on that you'll worry. I have this motherboard and it runs really well.

I actually had zero problems with my ASRock X570 Steel Legend Wifi AX. Damn good board too.

Board takes forever to begin post and then more time to boot into windows. Checking reviews online show this is a common complaint. Since I usually leave my computer on it isn't that big of a deal for me but might be for others. Also ASRock's support pages are not very comprehensive.

Okay, let me begin by saying that if you want/need a x570 motherboard and you're on a budget, you'd be hard pressed to beat this board. Pros: Good power regulation, great looks, both NVME slots have active cooling thanks to the chipset fan, 8 Sata ports for those of us who still use a ton of storage...

I recommend the ASRock X570 Steel Legend Wi-Fi AX or the normal non-Wifi version. As far as RAM, DDR4-3600 is the best RAM Ryzen can get currently due to the fabric clock generally topping out at 1800 MHz.
