 So who is this fragrance for? If you love the original Silver Mountain Water, then I think that you are going to enjoy this one as well. If you are looking for a fresh kind of fragrance with an icy and cool opening that then dries down into a sort of a musky and woody blend with ambroxan and a touch of florals, then yeah, I think you are going to enjoy this one. So how do I rate this fragrance? If I compare it to the original, then yeah, I think it's a fantastic clone. But regardless of that, I really enjoy it

 And I think that the majority of those around you will not smell a big difference between the two. The dry down is very similar, but I'm going to give bonus points to Armuff's Club de Neige Cillage for its stronger performance. Club de Neige Cillage stays on my skin for longer with a stronger projection. The price value proposition compared to Silver Mountain Water is simply put incredible

And there's no way that I could recommend you to get the original unless you really, really crave the difference. Cillage gives me a unique kind of vibe

 The floral brightness of the opening is by now a lot less strong. The dry down is my favorite part with that musky and woody blend with a fat dose of ambroxan together with the florals. It's masculine in a unique way and it's definitely fresh, but it's not your standard kind of freshness. So Club de Neige Cillage is a clone of Creed's Silver Mountain Water

The Armaf Club de Nuit fragrances have redefined what affordable means to me, quality for around $40. Bravo.

Hey everyone. I’m just curious on what people’s opinions are, and this is meant to be lighthearted. Anyways what does everyone think when people on here or specifically reviewers on YouTube claim a fragrance is affordable at the $100-$200 range. I personally think it’s a little odd. Fragrance is often not affordable. Just because some are super expensive, starting at $300 or $500, does not mean a $150 fragrance is affordable in my opinion. It’s still a lot of money that most people can’t be spending constantly. I think overall it is an expensive hobby and people shouldn’t claim that it is affordable. Again this is just my thought process and I’m curious what others think.

Thoughts on using the word “affordable” when describing fragrance

So, I was looking for a good winter scent. Thought I’d give CdN another try after the Creed Aventus hype, which this brand lost out to MontBlanc Explorer by a mile when I compared the real Creed. So, my thoughts on Sillage… not a keeper for me. The opening smells like “Fly Bug Spray”

 I wouldn’t wear this to work. The Mid is slightly better, but still has that Raid smell. Not impressed. If you live near NYC

Armaf club de nuit intense : First I was like damn do citrony for me but after that I re-try and GOD DAMN my go to parfum, all my hoodie smell that and its great A LOT of compliment

I'm still really new to the fragrance world and establishing my collection. I blind bought a 100 mL bottle of Prada Amber Pour Homme last week, based on reviews on Fragrantica and YouTube. Thought it would be a good safe buy. First time I sprayed it, I LOVED the top notes--that lilac really hits you! Then on the dry-down I was so disappointed--it smelled like old lady perfume! Upset at my wasted money, I put the bottle away for a few days. Decided to give it a second chance this morning and I'm so glad I did--I love it! No old lady smell at all! I don't know what was going on with my nose that first day. 

What fragrances took a wear or two to grow on you?

Is there a fragrance you hated on the first wear and then LOVED?

 They all have a distinctive scent. I wish, I could describe the different tones, but that’s not my specialty. This unisex thing is new to me, but I like sweet smelling scents. Vanilla, pineapples, Tonka beans, etc

I have purchased the entire collection of armaf…I heard they are a knock off brand. I am still satisfied with all the fragrances. I have purchased. I own Opus, stillage, de nuit, milestone

 The price point of this fragrance is why I purchased them. A fragrance under the 60 mark will get me to bite on them.

For me it would be Maison Margiela's By the Fireplace. I wore it on my third date with a girl I really liked and she told me I smelled "good as fuck". We had an amazing date which ended in our first kiss and ever since I have associated that fragrance with that great day. Realistically I don't think the fragrance made any difference but I can't help but think of it as my lucky fragrance. I'm curious to hear if any of you all have a similar association with something (or things) in your collection.

Do you have a "lucky" fragrance?

Pretty good not going to lie, honestly though I was a little disappointed with how long it lasts in my personal experience wearing this it lasted about 2-3 hours compared to using the Club de nuit intense men (aventus clone) where it lasts a little over double its kind of a let down but regardless for what you're paying for its pretty worth. the fragrance is amazing overall and you're bound to get complimented right away.

Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Woman is a nearly spot on clone of Noir De Noir that costs 30 bucks. La Yuqawam is a nearly perfect clone of Tuscan Leather for 40 bucks. I love Tom Ford too, but you can save a buck and still smell like it

When I first got into fragrance I saw Tom Ford mentioned a lot, so I went to one of his boutiques to get my sniffer on some stuff. I saw his prices and I hoped and prayed I wouldn’t like anything… but I did. I liked lots of stuff, and my heart cried.

I have spent hundreds on samples from both niche and designer houses trying to find something, anything, else I liked as much. I spent two hours inside of a specialty niche perfume store smelling as many things as I could. All of it was in vain. Don’t get me wrong, I *liked* lots of stuff, but at no point did I go weak in the knees and feel like I’d die without it.

Once I saw how much I’d spent on samples alone trying to escape TF’s clutches, I broke. I could’ve bought a couple bottles of my favorites had I not spent so much money running and screaming from my captor. My heart absolutely sank when I added up the numbers in my transaction history… scentsplit, I hope you’re happy.

I’ve decided I’m done running from my fate. I doubled down and ordered several TF samples, and once I’ve smelled them all and tested my favorites I’ll cough up the money for some (small) bottles.

I am a broken woman. An embarrassed, ashamed, broken woman… that also smells nice. I wish I liked some cool, niche house like Le Labo or Imaginary Authors—hell, I wish I liked Chanel or Guerlain. But the heart (and my big nose) likes what it likes, unfortunately for my wallet.

I’m really not sure why I’m posting this. It feels like a confession, and I wanted to shout into the void and share my pain. I don’t want to be this way, I really don’t. But I have given up, and I am one with Tom Ford. :(

 I have to put one or two sprays on a shirt the night before I plan on wearing it. You don't want to be in the room after you spray it. Way too strong.

Armaf Club de Nuit Sillage-Soooo I always try to be positive and find something good about a fragrance, but this is just horrific. I mean this is downright terrible. I wasn't expecting Creed like quality, but this legit made me nauseated. Just a super strong zingy metallic smell that is somehow salty at the same time
