The Armada ARV 106 is built to be the ultimate tool in big mountain freestyle skiing. I just got done riding the Armada ARV 106. 106 hundred foot is a great ski for anyone that's going to get into a little bit of fresh snow, be able to play in the trees, and definitely be able to go all over the mountain. It's a great ski that's going to want to hold on edge when you're on the groom, but when you get into some fresh, or you're going over some rollers, and you want to be a little more playful, tip and tail butters, it's a great way to go

I am thinking about picking up a pair to use as my daily driver for the east coast. I haven't had the chance to demo a wide variety of skis so any input is appreciated. 

They sound like they will make an awesome groomer/tree ski. But I am worried they might be a bit too stiff/heavy for butters/side hits/the occasional park lap.

Thoughts on the J. Ski fastforward

 It's easy to shut down your speed quickly. This is the ski I would take if I want to go on the hill and just rip some laps, maybe jumping in the park, but also cruising the rest of the mountain. I'd rather ARV 106, just wide enough if you can get out into some softer snow and you're not going to be tripping over the tips. I like the smear technology, makes the ski really clean, edge to edge, and just having the solid construction for being in the park

 It comes in three sizes, 172, 180, and 188. And the 180 length, of course, comes in 106 underfoot, 134 in the tip, and 124 in the tail. One of the characteristics I like most about this ski is the fact that we now have built into it our 3D base or our SmearTech, which is that 3D profile in the tips and tails. Given the ARV 106 is going to see more hard pack snow and ski see more resort type of snow, we've extended the length of the steel edge further up into the rocker zones

 Next ski we're going to talk about is going to be the ARV 106 and here with me today to discuss the ARV 106 and someone that skis a ski quite frequently when he's not on the white walker, which is primarily the ski that Sammy skis, which is his signature model.

 ARV 106 is, you know, a really versatile all-mountain ski. It comes in three sizes, 172, 180, and 188. And the 180 length, of course, comes in 106 underfoot, 134 in the tip, and 124 in the tail.

 out there today. 106 isn't the most ideal underfoot I would pick if I was a groomer skier

 or liked carving all of the time. This is a little bit stiffer of a ski, being about an 8 out of 10

 flex as Armada claims. So you do have to work a little bit harder to get this ski edge to edge.

 Certainly could be seen as a playful ski to some skiers. It really depends on your skiing
