It's a late war Japanese Type 99. If you post a picture [like this](https://i.imgur.com/SP4kldn.jpg) I can tell you the manufacturer and series of the rifle. I collect Arisakas....I have over 30 of them lol.

Finally got my hands on 7.7 Jap for my Type 99, although I paid a premium for it. Turns out round-nose soft tip hunting ammo does not feed well in my rifle (after loading past 2 rounds), due to the rounded tip smacking into the feed ramp.

Arisaka Typ 99. Japanese WW2 Bolt Action Rifle. Five Shot stripper Clips. 7,7 x 58 mm Arisaka. Attached to it is a Typ 30 Sword Bayonet with a 40 cm blade.

I recently purchased what was advertised as a last ditch type 99 arisaka, 7.7X58mm. I had also recently purchased 7.7X58mm dummy rounds for the gun, only to find out that the bullet itself does not match with the size of the barrel. I have heard of Arisakas being re-chambered to fit more common rounds by the Chinese. Or I could have bought bad dummy rounds but I’m not sure.

Cleaning out the garage and found these, don't have anything to shoot them out of yet though. Recommendations? Hopefully a lever but i doubt anyone makes one in 300 Sav considering they're usually spitzers

Thank you Bot for reminding me. This is 20 round nose 300 savage remington rounds I found while cleaning out my garage. I'm looking for a gun to shoot them with (at this point its clear a type 99 lever is the ideal gun for me)
