Year after year, the Anker PowerPort 21W continues to be a high scorer. It has all the same attributes as the 15W but with 6W more power. It has a fast-charging speed: 3 hours and 40 minutes to charge a 6,000 mAh external battery in full sun, one of the faster in our review. It was also excellent at charging multiple devices at once, and it handled charge interruption as well as you could expect. 
It's not the lightest model that we tested, but it does pretty well for its size &#40;over 20 watts&#41;. Its tri-folding design is about the size of a magazine and is easy to store. This contender was hard to beat when it came to charging capabilities, weight, and price.

 I drove my regular commute to work, while my phone was plugged into the panel (instead of the cig lighter charger I usually use).  When I was driving under direct sunlight, my phone would charge beautifully. However, if I went into shade, even for a moment (like driving under a tree or past a building), my phone would stop charging and start again once I passed the tree/building/obstruction. During my whole commute, my phone kept disconnecting and reconnecting every time I passed any sort of obstruction that blocked direct sunlight

  By the end of my commute, my phone actually had less battery than before, because the screen would turn on and the phone would play a sound effect every time it started or stopped charging.  I'm usually a fan of Anker products, but this issue with the panel is going to be a big problem for me. The panel charges unsteadily. It doesn't deliver a steady charge, unless you leave it stationary under direct sunlight.  I planned to use this when I go hiking or backpacking, by throwing it on the back of my pack to get some juice while on the go, but I doesn't seem like this panel will be ideal for that use.  I tested the panel by putting it under the rear window in my four-door Camry sedan on a sunny day, when it would almost constantly be in the sun

 Also, it may sound silly but the accessory pocket on the Anker is simply horrible. There is a small piece of Velcro that closes the middle of the accessory pocket so anything inside is guaranteed to fall out where the flap is not attached. It seems like a small thing but if you’re getting this solar charger, you are probably planning on hiking with it or other activities where stuff can easily fall out, and you also plan to put your phone or battery brick in this pocket while it’s being charged. You’re guaranteed to lose anything in there

 Anker claims 21 watts and the other brand claims 7 watts so I expected the Anker to crush the other brand when it came to charging times. It just wasn’t so. Although being bigger and seemingly more powerful, the Anker actually weighed in about 6 grams less than my smaller model. It also has two USB ports for charging, which is a nice feature

Didn’t work for me

5W.  I'll be going to the Grand Canyon with the solar panel next week. I'll measure everything again in different conditions but my current thinking is that this panel is just not putting out what I expected.

93 volts at 0.47 amps using the same Drok meter with a regulated power supply running at 13.8 volts into a vehicle USB charging port. That both the solar chargers charged the Smart phone at a greater rate than the regulated power supply would tend to validate the claim of both manufacturers that their solar chargers would charge at the fastest rate safely possible for a given device

98 volts and 2.19 amps (10.9062 watts). Only one of the USB ports on the charger was used

  PHYSICAL PRODUCT COMPARISON & CONCLUSION Both products include metal clips and or fabric loops to allow easy attachment to backpacks or other objects. The Anker uses four metal eye holes whereas the Aukey has four fabric loops and a single metal eye hole. Both have comparably sized storage compartments and use Velcro to secure the foldout panels. Anker includes a red LED between the USB ports to signify charging
