Akko CS switches are very affordable and really impressive quality. Cheap Amazon/AliExpress keycaps for an ergo board are going to get you what you need for not a lot of money without huge headaches. I have a set of KPRepublic's dye sub 'all 1 u' keycaps that were cheap and are totally fine.

So, I got the Akko Lavender Purples, my first real tactile switch after using pretty much nothing but linears, like Gateron Reds or Akko Jelly Pinks. And they're not that bad, honestly. They take a bit of getting used to (at least for me, personally) but after that, they're pretty smooth, sound good...

You can fit other Outemu Switches, Akko CS switches (preferable for budget builds), Gazzew or Invyr switches (high cost, high end switches). Get some cheap PBT keycaps from Amazon or AliExpress, lube the stabs, throw some foam in there, bandaid mod, and do the tape mod of you like poppy sound and you're good to go. That's what I did with my Redragon K551 and it turned out pretty decent for what I paid in upgrades. Good find.

any akko cs linear is a good choice, just diferente sound profile and feelings (you coule look into the jellys too)
