If they don’t have great scale, an Acaia Lunar or Pearl makes a nice gift for a coffee lover. It’s often something too nice to buy for yourself but appreciated as a gift.

Honestly, I think what this scale indicates is that there is a market for a good looking espresso scale that would be 1/4 or less the price. Just eliminate the R&D for the absolutely garbage "suite" of random apps that are supposed to work with this thing. This feels like a kickstarter campaign trai...

This scale is a cheap rip off of the Acaia Lunar. They stole the design, literally stole the Lunar documentation and sent the Lunar manual to people for a while, and then don't implement a documented Bluetooth API (which could actually give it a leg up on Acaia). I agree with others, the scale can't handle weighing a portafilter.

Nicely packaged. Attractive design. Waterproof. Calibrateable. But, no timer??!? Plenty of cheaper scales with timer. And the antiskid plate should snap onto top instead of just falling about. The pressable locations for on/off and tare not exactly demarcated, a ring would be helpful. Lastly the fee...

That being said, I also have an Acaia Lunar to measure my yield. Frankly, this is overkill. I have two expensive scales doing different jobs; the 270Wi for dose and the Lunar for yield. If I were to do it over again, I'd probably go for the 270 instead of the 270Wi, and use the Lunar for both dose and yield, saving $$.

First off this is an awesome scale for espresso/coffee machines! Durable, accurate and small. The one tiny gripe I would change is the touch buttons. I wish they were either standard buttons or maybe raised a bit. To turn it off you double-tap the power button. This is fine but if you double-tap too...

I have two Eureka grinders. It’s hard to fault them. I also have an Acaia Lunar. It’s too small for my portafilter. I use a cheap scale from Amazon for that, and the Lunar for weighing and timing shots.
