3sixteen CT-100x

Ended up going with 3sixteens CT-100x which has the added bonus of a leather patch made by tanner goods matching leather edc I already had. Little lighter weight than I expected but I read 14oz was a good starter weight.

Oh, also, I used 3sixteen's hemming service and am pretty underwhelmed if I'm being honest. It cost $10 more and was done sloppier than if I had gone to my local spot, but this was convenient and is chain stitched, so I guess that's the trade-off. There wasn't any effort getting the seams aligned and both legs aren't precisely measured -- 1/4 and 1/2 inch larger than I requested. For twenty bucks, I expected more.

For reference, I have a pair of 3Sixteen CT-100x that are alright when I stand but get very tight around my thighs when I sit, and I have some N&F Weird Guy canvass pants that are okay through the leg but the rise is comically low. I usually wear a ~US32 and I'm looking for something with a 15-16 inch leg opening, like the Weird Guy and CT that I have.

They fit you really well, and will break in to fit even better! IMO 3Sixteen CT fit are a great option if you want to try a tapered fit that is still roomy overall and not slim but still with some defined shape to them (if that makes sense).

I have 3sixteen NT-100x that are MUCH TOO SMALL after a room-temp soak about 7 months in (this was back in 2019/2020ish) and some RGT Strong tapers that are only slightly too tight in the waist and top block. The RGT fits pretty well otherwise, although I wish the front pockets were a hair bigger.

Looking to sell my 3sixteen CT-100x that I bought from Blue Owl Workshop back in 2018. Selling because I now prefer jeans with a higher rise. Denim weight is advertised at 14.5oz. The top block is very roomy and can fit someone like me who is a size 40, but the problem for me is the low rise and the taper (the knee measurement is slightly below 10in and the leg opening is around 8 inches).

I have a pair of 3sixteen ST-100x jeans with a rear rise of 15 inches which feels like my bum crack is almost on show, so I got a pair of Momotaro 0405-70 with a rear rise of 17 inches, assuming it was this rear rise causing the problem, and these feel like they are belly warmers.
