Two of the features we missed on this pack were a sternum strap buckle that doubles as an emergency whistle &#40;a feature found on some other BD packs&#41; and external attachment options &mdash; aside from the rope strap on top of the pack, there aren't any. We also wish that the top drawcord and cord lock weren't black, as they blend into the black fabric atop the pack. Nonetheless, we think this pack is an excellent value for rock climbers looking to get more than half a rope length off the ground and still have some bills in their pocket.
