 This is not a pack I would suggest for any beginner or newbie to get their hands on because there's so much to it to figure out. and if you're just learning how to backpack, this is probably not the pack for you. But if you're somebody who does a lot of four and five day trips, or you're somebody who does a lot of through hiking on some longer trails, this is a fantastic pack. You can load it down with a ton of gear and it carries extremely well

 These are 399 dollars, but you're spending money on an investment. Like I said, this pack can last you a long time because of the fact that you can change out the hip belt and because of all the adjustments that you can make on the backpack. This is not a pack I would suggest for any beginner or newbie to get their hands on because there's so much to it to figure out. and if you're just learning how to backpack, this is probably not the pack for you

 This is actually my favorite suspension system when it comes to the Osprey suspensions. Like I said, it allows for excellent ventilation and airflow to keep you nice and cool when you're working hard to hike. It does a great job of also spreading the weight. Now if you notice the ventilation continues all the way down into the hip belt area

 This has been my go-to pack for a while and I really like it. I really like the airspeed suspension system in a lightweight. The Osprey Exos 58 sells for 220 on Osprey.com and every once in a while you can find it on sale if you are lucky

 What this does is it creates a gap from your back to the pack and provides some space for great ventilation. This trampoline airspeed mesh back panel is very comfortable. This is actually my favorite suspension system when it comes to the Osprey suspensions. Like I said, it allows for excellent ventilation and airflow to keep you nice and cool when you're working hard to hike

 Now it spreads apart to go really nice around and hug your hips very nicely to produce very excellent comfortability but also great weight distribution down to your hips. Now unlike the 38, the 38 does not allow you to access it from the side, only from the top. So once you get into the 48 and the 58 model of the Exos, you do have this extra feature here where you can access your water bottle from the side and the top. So pretty cool feature with that

 They fit very well. In my opinion. you will not find a pack that is around this weight with this much comfort. Also, take everything I say about comfort with a grain of salt

 I've taken it on multiple 50 60 backpacking trips, so I feel like I'm very qualified to tell you if this bag is worth your time. I'm also going to give you two reasons why you shouldn't buy this bag and you should look elsewhere, so stay to the end for that. So the first and most important in my opinion, is weights. When you're out in the backcountry, weight is king when it comes to choosing your gear, weight, and comfort

Once I finished and got home I contacted osprey and they just gave me a new pack because mine was so jacked up. I did see like 4 other people with the same pack who had the same issue as me so I’m not the only one who has had this issue

Alright I thru hiked the AT in 2019 and I bought this pack in hot springs for like $180 to replace my old one. Heading NOBO at probably ~250 miles left the back mesh wore thin and ripped! Once the mesh starts to tear it won’t stop so I had killer back pain from the loss of support. I ended up sticking my foam sit pad on my back to help with the pain but it only slightly helped. I decided to suck it up and just finish the AT with this pack

 Once I finished and got home I contacted osprey and they just gave me a new pack because mine was so jacked up. Used it on the AT

 They're not as heavy duty as you'd find in let's say the Zenith 88 or and on my Theorem pack, but on the other hand, they are really, really comfortable. and I don't have any problems carrying a reasonable weight in this pack now. these sternum strap on the front I suggest of all. It will actually slide up and down all the way along here on both sides, which is really useful

 And having a smaller pack on you with less on it, less in it for my pack weights down from something like 25 kilos. believe it or not, down to went to a team and so on. and then now when I use this pack, it's around 10 kilos and then I have some photography gear on top of that and it carries that brilliantly. I think that's the range of this design for I think it's exactly designed for that

 Yes, very large you can see. I've got another 1 liter Nalgene bottle on this side and there's plenty of space and you can easily get something else in. Now along the sides here you have the compression straps where you can adjust the amount of pressure by pulling on these Stoppers at the bottom, tightening up the side of the rucksack and these can be looped inside the pocket or to the outside. so on this on my backpack

I Went with the 58 liter for my EXO's It does come in two other sizes

 My issue with it is the design of the pocket itself. It runs a good portion of the size of the pack, but as you can see here, the way Osprey has built this one is they updated it from the older EXO's version which was just a full stretchy mesh pocket. So all this bit here was all stretchy mesh. They didn't have this solid I think this is like a hundred and ten D fabric in the center here
