I received my ZG today, unboxed, put together, and used in one room and it’s beyond my expectations. Keep in mind my last vac was a Hoover Pet that dust cup latch broke in less than a year and onboard attachment holders also broke in less time , so maybe I have never experienced a deluxe vacuum. I was a bit hesitant buying a canister, but needed something to get in low and tight spaces. It moves like a dream!

The instructions explain not to extend the power cord past the red mark. I do. If not, you’re giving up at least a foot more cord. And if you vacuum, the longer the cord is key

I have plenty of animals that shed and don't notice much of a problem. Some light debris will blow away a bit but not far enough or fast enough to not catch with the suction. The one con however is the cord. There isn't really a hook or a rewind, so that's pretty inconvenient

This is by far the best value of a vacuum cleaner with the powerhead and power stair nozzle in the market in the US. I have been searching and was considering buying a Sebo or Miele. Trying to find a canister vac w/power nozzle you are going to spend minimum $800. The Zero G vac has excellent maneuverability, and it comes with even more tools

If you're looking to save some money on a vacuum cleaner, the Eureka Whirlwind Bagless Canister is a good option. Despite its budget-friendly price, this canister vacuum performs superbly on bare floors, easily clearing pet hair as well as small and large material. While its floorhead doesn't have an electrobrush or even an air-driven turbo brush, it sucks up an impressive amount of debris on low and high-pile carpet, though you might need to make an extra pass to deal with very bulky debris.

It has 4 old-style furniture casters not the more modern-omni casters on Mieles and Sebos. I agree the cord is short and there is no auto-winder. While Metrovacs are simple and effective retro canister vacuums if you're going to use this as your daily driver for your house I would instead buy a Zero G, Miele Classc C1 Cat & Dog, or a Sebo K3 Premium and both Miele and Sebo have optional hepa exhaust filters. However, it's worth noting that its power cord and hose aren't very long, which makes it difficult to clean some faraway areas and may force you to swap outlets when cleaning larger areas. It doesn't have an allergen-trapping HEPA filter either, which could be an issue if you have a heavily-shedding pet. Otherwise, it's an excellent choice for vacuuming relatively flat, even surfaces like tile floors.

The good news is dust mites and there debris are fairly large and any modern bagged vacuum will filter them out.

Get the Mighty Mite if you value the cleaner means of debris disposal that come with a bagged vacuum, but consider the Whirlwind if low costs of ownership are more important for you.

The canister glides super easy on multiple floor types and is light enough to carry on the stairs for cleaning that carpeting also. So on bare floors and/or carpeting I would highly recommend this product. I bought this for the upper floor of my home which is mostly wood floors with some carpeting. My other vacuum I use in my lower level (all carpet) is a Lindhaus HealthCare Pro which is another premium vacuum
