Of course I looked at the Apple Magic Keyboard first and was appalled at the price. Even more so, the lower-end model did not have a removeable backlit keyboard, so that was out. I went in search on Amazon and looked every night for over a week. There are the cheaper models that average ~$40-60, and I was tempted to buy one of those, until this case

Not a big deal but i forget * I'm not sure the price justifies all the above. I'm not going to return this any time soon, but the next time i get a keyboard i'm going to pay a lot closer attention to the above preferences.

Still, I didn’t want to subtract points since keyboard does not interfere with the touchscreen. The major points I like are backlit keyboard, and shortcut keys to let me switch between open programs. (The key that looks like 2 rows of 3 boxes). Keys to control audio also work well, as do key for onscreen keyboard

So far this is a great product; sturdy, good keyboard, love that the table can be removed from the keyboard case (magnetic); would be 5 stars if not for the misleading packaging. The ZAGG - Pro Keys Wireless Keyboard and Detachable Case was purchased to accompany a new iPad Air (4). The critique is in the labeling of the package of the Pro Keys, as it relates to power source. The package leads you to believe a charging cable comes with the keyboard

The board is well-built and features negative angled feet as well. It features typical scissor switches, which are very similar to the Apple Magic Keyboard 2017 or the Logitech MX Keys.

The feel is actually pretty decent, despite the same flat, gray, cheap-looking plastic and retro-without-being-cool chiclet key. I am unable to give it a win in this category due to a couple unfortunate design choices. The worst of these is the choice to put the function (fn) key in the lower left corner. Thus, the prime pinky finger location is occupied by a key that has very few routine uses (except toggling delete/backspace, which is nice to have but only confuses the positioning further)

If you tend to spend long hours at the computer and want something comfortable, the Logitech ERGO K860 Wireless Split Keyboard is the best wireless keyboard for Mac we've tested with an ergonomic design. The wave-like design splits the keys down the middle, so you have a cluster for each hand. While this may take some getting used to, it's intended to ease any discomfort in your wrists.
