In a nutshell, if you are after a digital piano, this is the best I found that still "feels like a grand", but costs as a digital. In terms of sound quality is excellent; sound level is good (not a grand, of course!).

I'm 30 and wanted to learn piano. I selected this product because I wanted something that would look nice in the living room & simulate a real piano experience without a major financial commitment. More advanced features (bells and whistles) of other digital pianos (around this price-point) were not important criteria in my decision making. The main distinction between the YDP-143 and its smaller brother (YDP-103) is tone generator

I would love to use it, but their pricing model sucks. I went with B2 because I don't have to worry about "tiers" -- just use what I use, and get charged for it. No worries about going over quotas.

The action is close enough to a real piano as to make the transition very easy. One can also half pedal on it, which is a real plus. One needn't pretend that it can approach the real thing in terms of sound; that would be ridiculous. But I've found the sound to be perfectly acceptable

Don't expect a lot of bells and whistles. They spent the money on the build quality and sound rather than electronic gimmicks. Recommended but not perfect.
