This type of seat needs a zipper protector, and better placement of it, so that sitting on it does not cause this problem. Maybe tapper it up, and place a protective cover that the zipper can store.

Tempur pedic has always been a company with quality products, imo. I've had a couple of their matresses and they work quite well; until the memory foam eventually breaks down and sags.
