You have to have these pups strapped on right and tight or else your foot will slip in ways you really don't want to be slipping. They do dry in minutes, however. But even with those issues and my cleanliness neurosis going on in my head.

I usually wear a 13-- should I have gotten a 12? It rubbed by my toe and gave me a blister on my first walk with them! They are really light weight! Comfortable as zero drop goes! Just not sure if these are "normal" kinks to be worked out. Sometimes new flip flops take a couple of wearings to adjust to our feet. Hoping that's what will happen with these!

My typical day touring is morning to night and upwards of 10 miles a day. I have flat feet and need all the support I can get in a shoe.

I’m now experimenting with Teva Universal Urban sandals that are a bit lighter and pack much flatter.

I've had two previous generations, currently on my third one and really happy with the design improvements each time. Great work changing from simple rubber (too grippy) to an actual buckle on the adjustment section of the long strap.

Its design allows it to be tossed in the washing machine with little worry of damage. This should do the trick, but wetsuit soap can also be added if you’ve got some really powerful stink that needs liberating. Keen advises on its website to wash Newports on a gentle cycle then air dry them.

Only negative was cost of buying in Europe, hopefully the European hub is coming soon as I wouldn’t purchase from USA again.

Unlike hiking boots, I don’t envision wearing the KEEN Women's Newport H2 Sandals very often, which makes the $110 price tag a bit hard to swallow.
