Things to be aware of: If you buy Honeywell brand replacement filters, they are majorly expensive. Which would be a good excuse to avoid changing them at the recommended interval. However, I've had success with other brands which I've purchased from Amazon. I do keep extras on hand, too

I am looking for recommendations on a louder air purifier. I have a dohn noise machine and it works well but instead of buying another I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations.

This is the poorest design I have ever encountered. The front removable panel would not stay closed. Noise level was to high. Controls very difficult to use and slow to respond

That all said I do like the AM90 and it works well, is quiet and being able to control it from my phone is Convenient. I replaced an old honey well which was noisier and had no remote capabilities.

I got it from Kohl's. It worked so good. But I was moving it back and forth from bedroom to living room (the handles help), but I figured I'd get a second one. Not hip to the air purification world, I bought what appeared to be a sleek new model from another manufacturer for almost $200

The controls are simple and intuitive and the air quality monitor is pretty receptive to VOCs. It doesn't run terribly loud when at levels 2+. There's a night time mode where it gets dead quiet. The design is modern and visually satisfying

First unit came with broken controller board for WiFi and WINIX rep was easy to contact and very helpful in quickly shipping out replacement unit

My chronic allergies and sinusitis have required that I use HEPA air filters in every room of my home. Over the past 20 years I have owned many different units, almost all of them were manufactured by Honeywell. While all had the same basic functions and worked quite well, this unit is by far the best and quietest air filter that I have ever owned. Changing the filters is relatively simple and straight forward. Haven't tried the wifi yet.. I didn't really buy it so it could auto order filters though

The one in our living room is near our cat’s main hangout spot and let’s just say he pretty quickly identified himself as the main contributor to our household dust issues…we spend most of our time upstairs or in our bedroom, so the fact we consistently had to change the living room filter more frequently than the one in our room helped us to be aware of the problem and now we vacuum twice a day in the living room and brush our cat more frequently. 10/10, would recommend this purifier every single time (and frequently do to fellow allergy sufferers)
