Before I bought the medium sized windmill ac unit, I was looking for smart ac units that will keep my energy bill low. These units do exist, but they were either too price, or it looked like a desktop from the 90’s hanging out of a window. When I came across the windmill, I pleasantly surprised by the looks and the functionality that they promised.  Usually, when products look to good to be true, they usually are

More importantly, it blows cold air, and from what the analytics in the app tells me, it’s much more efficient than my older unit. Once I get a few electric bills, I will confirm the accuracy of the table provided in the app that displays power usage.  I’m extremely happy with my windmill ac unit! I’m looking forward to the cold summer :)

Clean and Easy

 That said, of the 6 window ACs that I now own, it's above average noise-wise—it doesn't have that high-pitched whine that so many of these make, like old refrigerators that run all the time. The problem is, I don't think there are any window ACs that are quiet enough for me.  It does run cold, however, so there's that. The controls are not exactly standard, but not difficult to figure out

SECOND REVISED REVIEW - 5-STAR AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Installation was a breeze and they include all the tools you need, including scissors to cut the insulation foam. Its about as stylish as an AC can be, not sticking out as far from the window as most do and blending in with your wall a bit better than most ACs.

Best AC I've Ever Owned

This ac is capable of cooling my 1200 sq ft apartment very well but I also have ceiling fans to guide air flow to other rooms. After a few nasty heat waves I got my electric bill and only saw a 20 dollar increase whereas other acs ive used in the past has me spending a 100 or more extra in the summer. Energy efficient, absolutely. Could be quieter for sure but honestly I can't complain

 I received a unit that was damaged in shipping, and support was excellent, ultimately replacing the unit in a couple of days. I like the AC, but knowing that appliances sometimes arrive broken and that windmill will take care of it is such a major plus for buying a new one, with all the uncertainty behind that.
