  They maneuver well in small, tight radius turns in bumps and glades, but hold their own when the terrain opens up for long, carving turns.  The only condition where I have found they underperform has been thick, heavy storm snow that has included a mix of snow and rain in the same storm.  Here, I have found that the ski tends to catch and wobble, particularly in the area just forward of the binding mounting, where the ski narrows.  

I have skied the Summits in a variety of conditions ranging from New England hardpack (read, sheer ice) to fluffy powder to bumps, trees, and wide open spaces.  On the hardpack, they hold an edge without feeling skittish or chattery, on powder, the big shovel and the rise in the ski tip floats the ski beautifully and gives a nice, "surfy" feel to the ride.  They maneuver well in small, tight radius turns in bumps and glades, but hold their own when the terrain opens up for long, carving turns.  The only condition where I have found they underperform has been thick, heavy storm snow that has included a mix of snow and rain in the same storm

  In general, the design of the Summit has been a game changer in my skiing by inspiring confidence through creating a stable, reliable platform from which to crank out smooth, powerful tele turns that were previously inaccessible to me on other skis. Overall I am super happy with the Summit, and could say with confidence that this ski really does do everything well enough to be my one-ski quiver.  As a bonus, the art on the topsheet by Brooklyn Bell is absolutely eye-catching and unique.  Definitely the most beautiful ski I have ever ridden

Yes, Weston is well-known for their snowboards but the folks designing skis really hit the nail on the head by creating a solid, do-everything, daily driver ski that is fun, confidence inspiring, and reliable.  Buy this ski.  You won't be sad.
