When we were just first firing up the grill the middle burner wouldn't light. Now I got sent some replacement piece I have yet to install because I'm not sure how. Now the third burner also won't light. The reason why we purchased and spent more on a Weber is for the quality of the grill

 I'm doing so, I see quite a bit of rust on them, no bueno. In hindsight, I would have bought the grill with the stainless steel grates instead. Now I'll be upgrading to them at a bit of a higher cost to me. Live and learn

Love my Genesis

 All of the parts fit together like a well-oiled machine. The folks at Weber have taken great care to source hardware from very reputable factories (i.e.: Screw heads don't strip when applying enough force to tighten securely like many others do)

 Genesis was the model I always went to first when shopping for a new grill. You know right away why there's such a disparity in price between Genesis and Spirit models when you simply lift the lid of each unit of comparable size. I am by no means knocking the Spirit model as it has served me extremely well for many years (and an equal amount of winters too!). Genesis is an upgrade for sure but you can best see why by assembling the unit yourself

 Great warranty, also. Highly recommend, I have a friend and a family member who has the same grill and they all love it also.

Hey guys, I didn't know if I'm allowed to ask this here or not, but I was looking to buy a new grill and I don't know what grills are actually worth it and what grills I'm just "paying for the name". 

I'd like to keep it $500 or under and I prefer propane. Also, it's just me and my wife so I wouldn't need anything huge. Quality takes major precedence over size in this case. If you have any recommendations, I would appreciate it. If this isn't the place to ask, could someone please direct me to where I should go?

Grill Recommendations?

 Again no rust whatsoever and I just clean that out a couple times a year. No rust whatsoever on this. Then that drips down into the actual grease collection tray and that has an aluminum insert which has actually developed a little bit of corrosion on the bottom so I just put heavy duty tin foil on top of it. Haven't gotten around to buying new aluminum trays for that

 As far as the inside of the grill I scraped it down. The burners themselves are stainless steel, not a hint of rust on those. They are holding up very well. Again I scraped the grease off the inside bottom part of the grill there and there is my grease tray

Weber Spirit E210 LP Gas 2-Burner Grill 3-year update E-210

 Hey, it's Michael and this is my update for my Weber Spirit E210 grill.

 I bought this grill May 2017 so it's celebrating its third anniversary today

 I do a deep cleaning on this once or twice a season

 and by deep cleaning I mean I open the grill up, I take all the grill grates out,

 I take all the flame covers out, I take out the drip tray

 and I basically scrape all the grease off the sides of the inside of the grill

 with a metal spatula and I just clean it up as best I can.

 There is literally no rust on this whatsoever anywhere

 and I'm going to give you a good tour of this grill right now.

 I do want to mention though that this thing gets up to about 560 degrees

 Now that seems pretty high, I mean the thermometer only goes up to 600

 and yet this is the two burner grill and I just don't feel it gets quite hot enough to give a good sear.

 But everything else about the grill I love,

 you know I can operate each burner independently from the other one.

 You always light the grill with the igniter on the left burner

 but once you get the left burner going you can light the right burner

 and then turn the left burner off if you want to.

 But indirect cooking works really well on this,

 just get one or the other of the burners going and you can control your heat pretty well.

 Really there's nothing I don't like about the grill except that initial sear,

 Now they do make the 310 which is a three burner version of this

 and I'd love to try one out to see whether that has a higher BT rating

 and would give me that elusive sear that I can't seem to get on this one.

 But that's not a major point for me because I can always do a pan sear

 and as far as burgers and hot dogs and sausages this grill works fantastic.

 So let's give you the tour of the whole thing so you can see how good it looks after three years of use.

 So as I mentioned there's virtually no rust on this at all.
