Warbonnet Blackbird XLC vs Kammok Mantis Hammock

If you are an average weight person and planning to use underquilts as your primary insulation below the hammock, I don't see any point to carrying the extra weight of the double layer.

Underquilts seem to be significantly lighter and cheaper, but I'd rather not have to purchase both an underquilt and a sleeping bag (because I'm sure at some point I'll want to sleep in a tent).

Ordered my first "non-generic" hammock. Went with the Warbonnet Blackbird XLC. Anyone have any experiences with it? I love every feature about it, especially the idea of adding top covers or underquilts later if need be. Every review I see is great

Top notch craftsmanship, super comfortable fabrics (dream tex nylon) and has a ton of accessories to fit whatever type of hammocking youre into. Super recommend.

Even better because they did the return even though I could have done the exchange with my store, but this was at the beginning of COVID and they were very helpful.

Steer clear of Dutch - his hammocks are overpriced and he nickel and dimes his customers on options that other vendors include for less money.
