* As close to 55\*40\*23 cm as possible since this is intended as a carry on one bag travel bag. I usually bring a lot of crap, so it has to be quite big, but still be possible to carry on. * Preferably load lifters (I have a Wandrd Prvke 31 liters which I've been traveling with, and load lifters would've been great to have). * At least one pocket for a water bottle (preferably one that is easy accessible from the outside of the bag, but if there is an internal pocket that might suffice as well)

I only keep my keys and a couple pocket items in that top pocket, so I didn’t make use of the extra space. I think if you’re a taller person that wants the bag to pull double-duty as a daily carry and a lightweight travel, go with the CHZ26 (or my current favorite for that role, the CPL24). If you’re considering the smaller CHZ, you will probably find the PLC20 better suited for the job. The CHZ22 is an older design and now finds itself in an awkward spot among Evergoods’ evolving lineup

so having a lot of large compartment really helps organize my gear and cloth. And I already have camera cube from Wandrd so transition is pretty smooth. 3. Wandrd Prvke 41L: Even though my 31L is showing its wear(the strap is getting weak, and maybe will tare off soon) I really dig the design

On the opposite end, there’s the dedicated laptop compartment where you can easily slide your laptop in while the rest of the pack is stuffed to the brim. It’s a solid design and offers some protection, but there are no straps to keep a smaller laptop from shifting while you walk—so you might consider a laptop sleeve.

I have been looking for a bag for commutes that I could carry a laptop in if necessary, but that doesn’t devote a massive amount of space and material to the laptop. I’ve tried a Rucker 3.0 and Tom Bihn Synapse 19, but neither really hit the nail on the head.
