* As close to 55\*40\*23 cm as possible since this is intended as a carry on one bag travel bag. I usually bring a lot of crap, so it has to be quite big, but still be possible to carry on. * Preferably load lifters (I have a Wandrd Prvke 31 liters which I've been traveling with, and load lifters would've been great to have). * At least one pocket for a water bottle (preferably one that is easy accessible from the outside of the bag, but if there is an internal pocket that might suffice as well)

Just be sure the camping gear is stuff you would be comfortable using. You might try the WANDRD PRVKE 41L or shimoda pack or a https://www.wandrd.com/products/fernweh (However at 50L there is a risk of having to check it)

<p>EDIT: I should have added a few major details:</p>

<li>my these 40+10L still don&#39;t account for  outside stretchy pockets , where I coul stuff things outside the airport as well. One big pocket could certainly fit a tent, a puffy jacket and a medkit</li>
<li>my tent is frameless, uses 1 trekking pole. I do expect this to be the largest butt-hurt and will either send that pole + stakes separately or will get new ones. Either way, I expect to move on land much more than by plane.</li>

I recently gave the Wandrd Prvke a trail run because I had heard good things, I hated it. My main turnoff of the Prvke is the roll top. I just can't do it. The comfort just isn't it either

The lower half of the shoulder straps is dedicated to rails for the sliding sternum strap—our favorite kind because of how granular the adjustment is. There are two ways to access the main compartment; via the rolltop or through the clamshell opening. As a rolltop, the PRVKE 21L’s volume is expandable; thus, the beefy G-hook is length-adjustable, and there are two sets of hook-side velcros on the front side where the strips of loop-side velcros at the back can attach to. This is fine for quick but partial access to the main compartment. For full access, though, clamshell access is the way to go

There's actually a hard liner in here you can take out if you don't want it, but it's nice because it's got these breathable channels in here so when you're wearing on your back it helps channel in the air so it stays nice and cool. I've owned this bag for just over 4yrs.The reason I gave it 1 star and would give negative 5 stars, is because I just found out from 5.11 tactical that unless you buy it directly from them, the lifetime warranty is void. That is something the manufacturer should make known

 So this is a nylon right here. and this goes into you know, the fact that this bag is meant to be beat up on so you have this heavy nylon vacuum right here. You do have some air channels so you got two spots right here for your upper back and then for your lumbar down here. some nice cushioning, Dense cushioning

 Now we have an official hip belt down here, not a hip strap. A hip belt load bearing will load transferring pack down here, so this actually extends out really well so this will take the weight from out of the pack down to your hips. 5.11 RUSH 72 2.0: When Rugged Meets High Value!

Received this pack for Christmas and have been waiting a few months before I give it some review. I consider my usage to be moderate. I'm in a search and rescue unit and am required to hump short distances (3-6 miles) at relatively quick paces. I've enjoyed having this pack and have used it on several different occasions now

11 typically means good quality so the stitch is sound and the feel is comfortable. But I wanted to give it a good test before tbe review. I've taken it on several trips now,field tested it pretty good and humped it several times with plus 35lbs. This weekend I did an arduous test of 3 miles, 30lbs within 45 minutes
