Malfunctioning handsets and static noise (revised review)

 The only real problem is that the phone is supplied with belt clips that are unusable because they were manufactured too short to fit into the holes meant to hold them. This was a feature that I did want to help me be able to chat hands free with the headset while doing chores. Guess I will have to wear an apron with a pocket to hold the phone. Not the ideal

I had enough of the endless robocalls to my home. I tried the Federal Do Not Contact List and submitted every offenders number every time to nomorobo.com to no avail. The worst offender was the Administration of Energy Savings, who called 3 and 4 times every day despite my picking up the phone 6 times to tell representatives to not call again

If you don't already own this Vtech phone system then you need to order one right now and throw away what ever kind of phone system you have! Ya you heard me just throw that old phone right in the garbage can! This Vtech phone system stops phone spammers like a "6 foot rope on a 10 foot tree". I have had it for 2 weeks now and have not had any spammers at all get thru the screening system. That about say's it all! Have had some trouble with the date changing like others have mentioned. My Mum is 102 and has hearing issues. This phone did not help. Ended up buying a landline phone with better volume control and much, much larger numbers.

Not loud enough…

My mom has a Captel wired phone for hearing impaired but it is not near her bed. The Captel works great, but is not convenient. She can't get out of bed and across the room fast enough to answer the phone, so everyone stopped calling.  I bought this phone in the hope that she could hear on it without her hearing aids and it would help her be more connected to family who can't visit now because of COVID-19

 I'm only giving 4 stars because most likely these phones are being used primarily by the elderly so to make them as easy to operate as possible should be the goal. My dads hands barely work anymore so if he wants to call me, he has to press the phone book button, then the down arrow button until he finds my name, then the talk button, etc. Minor inconvenience but the phone he had before this, all that needed to be done was to press the corresponding number on the keypad to the person set up for that number. With 4 daughters, he knew which girl belonged to which number
