We live in an apartment and have a Roomba, but wanted a small stick vacuum to supplement for edges and to suck up dust above the floor. We bought this one because it had a HEPA filter and was not cordless, and it seemed to have decent suction. I bought this last year, and it has held up very well. It doesn't look very sturdy, but has been okay bumped around. The handle length can be adjusted easily with your thumb. The HEPA filter has a fine mesh wrap that  removes for hand washing
