If you're looking for an affordable bar with lots of thump and punch in the bass, check out the Vizio V Series V21-H8. It's a 2.1 setup like the Samsung HW-A550, but its dedicated subwoofer can reproduce a more extended low-bass, making it a solid choice for listening to bass-heavy music. There's even a subwoofer level control that lets you adjust how loud the subwoofer gets.

Its default sound profile is quite bass-heavy, so you feel the rumble in bass-heavy genres like hip-hop and EDM. The mids are still quite balanced, so dialogue in TV shows is clear and detailed. You also have some options available to help customize its performance, including bass and treble adjustments and a dialogue enhancement mode.

It lacks Atmos support, and its surround sound performance isn't the most impressive. You won't find a full graphic EQ, limiting your ability to adjust its sound, especially in the mid-range. Still, if you want a budget-friendly bar with a boomy bass, it's a good pick.

While the very low price of the Vizio V-Series 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar V21-H8 had us momentarily questioning our ears, we can assure you this soundbar sounds better than several more expensive competitors, while offering a dearth of useful features and presets. There is a powerful subwoofer that Vizio recommends placing next to or behind the audience, where increased proximity to the rumbly bass makes for an exciting experience. Dialogue enhancement and night mode also make for a great viewing experience at lower volumes.
Though this model is solid for the price point, it can't hold a candle to the higher-end model in terms of overall sound quality. While powerful, the bass can sound muddy and overwhelm the rest of the mix. When we did turn the bass down, the weak mids and sometimes harsh treble became more apparent. This isn't too much of a problem when watching action films at high volumes, but it makes for a poor experience when using the soundbar to listen to music. Still, this soundbar is a monumental improvement over any built-in TV speakers, and if your bank account can't absorb a high-end sound system to pair with your newly acquired flat screen, the Vizio V-Series 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar is a very solid option.

 Just give you an example. Uh klipsch, which is a which is k-l-i-p-s-c-h, makes their sound bars right here in the usa. They also have quite a few uh products that the audio file within you would certainly love to take a look at we're talking. Speakers headphones, sound bars amongst all those things, so uh take a look at that company and potentially make the decision to buy a usa made avoiding this 160 dollar sound bar

Vizio V21 review: Best soundbar under $200

I have v21 h8 and it is been very difficult to set up. Assistant can link via Bluetooth but then you cannot have other devices link to the soundbar. There is voice assistant aux in but sadly no ga gh product has 3.5 mm jack

I currently have a Google mini in the TV room which I use to turn on/off the TV and Hue lights. The one device in the room that Google can't affect is the soundbar though, any time the volume is too soft/loud I have to find where the kids last placed the remote. Most soundbar Google assistant descriptions describe using the soundbar to receive voice commands like a Google mini, but I'm not finding descriptions if the soundbar can be controlled using commands like "turn up the volume on the Vizio" (regardless of what input it is currently using). I'm currently looking at the Vizio M512a-H6, has anyone had any experience with this?

Do Vizio soundbars support changing the volume using Google Home?

After extensive research for soundbar/subwoofer ordered a Vizio. Pre-read quick guide prior to arrival. Got all & was baffled at remote being impossible to open, so after googling & still couldn’t open, called Vizio. Connection to wherever the call goes to was hardly audible, finally Rep suggested I use a small coin to pry the remote open, which I gently did, and the the ENTIRE remote fell apart with pieces flying everywhere, and her suggestion was then for me to just not use the remote

 Wireless subwoofer that looks top of the line, looks modern and small. You can place it anywhere in that room as well. Has the better options than the other sound bars and it comes with the subwoofer on top of that, all the other sound bars don't have voice assistant for 119.

 So if it's going to be sitting on your mantel, it's going to be on your right side. It'S got the hdmi also on the right side, which makes sense, because that's where your hdmi cables are on your tv on the right side, it has the sound bar hdmi arc. You peel here, the auxiliary vas are on the right side from the back. Here

 I didn't want too much base in my basement. I have the lg 700 one with the dolby atmos and the bigger sub. That thing is enough power. For me, this is for my family room

 I think the umi k1 is the popular choice. Maybe if i use that or sound better, i don't know maybe i'll play around with that in the future, but anyways it sounds good. We'Re gon na click next, it says to place the microphone center there. So, as you can see, everything was detected, so i'm just gon na go ahead and click next all right, so you can measure up to nine positions. I'M gon na click finish for now, because i'm gon na probably use direct live, but we're just gon na go ahead and see how this did all right

 So i had the onkyo tx nr838 with the first generation of accu eq, and it didn't really have that. Many options and the testing was pretty basic, but it sounded okay. Now this one. I think this is third generation

 That probably explains why i don't feel any bass when i'm listening to movies all right and then, if you press the i button on the remote you get this option here. So you have the input and then the output. So right now i'm not really playing anything. So it says two channels, but if i play a movie on my computer it'll say something else, and then here we have the input, as you can see
