Tudor Black Bay 58 vs Rolex Daytona

In the end, for me, it felt more my style than a sub and has a bit more unique character to it. My favorite element is the contrast between the matte dial and the gilt shiny hands and marker surrounds.

Rolex have ticked all the boxes with this watch. Onto the Rolex Daytona 116500LN Black Dial. This is such a fantastic watch, it is a joy to wear and admire on your wrist.

I love the design and attention to detail this watch has, plus the fact that if you change the strap to a brown leather or even fabric it can be matched with more casual wear. I know Daytonas aren’t exactly the most original choice nowadays, but this is a beautiful combo that I feel is not seen frequently. I love the way the black and rose gold contrast with each other, and the strap is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. I know the grey market pricing for steel models is absurd at the moment, so if anyone is considering one of those, I’d urge you to take a look at some of the PM models as well! There’s a lot of beautiful combinations available out there.

In terms of watch for dollars, it's a terrible bargain. It's obviously great in resale terms, but I don't wear watches for the next owner. I'd take a lightly used Pelagos or Planet Ocean (both around $4k) before spending my money on a Submariner. Or a BB58 if it fit my wrist

Hell YES. Pick the Zenith El-P over a Rolex Daytona for sooo many legitimate horolgical and value reasons. INMO no comparison.
