This mill is on the smaller side, but the Trudeau Seville grinds consistently (though not quite as finely as the Peugeot and Fletchers’ Mill models).

 The adjustment on the pepper size is something I do feel you have to play with a little by twisting the knob at the top. It takes a little work to get the perfect size you are after. I do wish it was as simple as a click and set type of mechanism, but overall I would say its the most bang for your buck and it seems like it should hold up. I will see if the quality is a lasting one soon enough

Good value for the money. I've had this grinder for about a year now and I'm happy with it, for the most part. It's a nice weight, holds a good amount of peppercorns and the grinding mechanism works well. It also looks good on my counter

 My complaint is about the adjustment from fine to coarse. The little knob at the top is supposed to do this but it doesn't work for me - the pepper is always coarsely ground, no matter how I turn that knob. That's why I'm rating 4 stars rather than 5.

Steel grinding mechanism, wooden construction, no plastic !

Grinds pepper fine, as far as I can tell over a few days, but the grinder and the wood outside just isn't good quality. Going to dish out more money for something nicer, probably a Peugeot -- if you go with wood I'd recommend something nice instead of cheap :)

Wish it was a tad bigger . I use this daily and has held up well so far. The only thing is it had a small amount of peppercorns upon arrival. That was a little strange but not a big deal

This grinder is my favorite now. I have always only used manual grinders and well the difference is huge. The Epare grinder is easy to use just like a manual grinder but with a lot less effort AND you done need to use both hand, it's easy to just hold it with one hand and press the top button for easy pepper or salt grinding. One of my favorite features is that it has an LED light at the bottom, so you know exactly how much you are adding to your food
