If you're looking for just a backpack just to be a backpack though, and to and from the office, maybe to the gym, to and from class, this bag is gonna fit your needs very well. As long as you don't expect it to be feature-rich and have all these pockets and you know what you're getting into, you're gonna love this bag. Now to the cons of the bag

 It's still just that Cordillera fabric and I found that it doesn't breathe very well on your back and it's kind of a buzzkill for me. My next con is gonna be the laptop sleeve is not padded I Don't really know how you could market this bag for you know, everyday use where people are taking their laptops here and there and the only thing protecting that laptop is a tiny piece of nylon separating that in the main compartment. It's just a recipe for disaster, especially with the crap that we throw in the main compartment. along with laptops running upwards of like $3,000 nowadays

 You know you can unzip it, throw whatever crap you need to grab really quickly just because you don't wanna put it in the main compartment because stuff can kind of go to the bottom and it will get too in a second. And what I really like about it is the zipper on it. That thing is super heavy-duty I really don't know how you can break it and I know how you guys all know that once the zipper goes, it kind of the bag falls apart. so Topos done a really good job of putting like a really beefy zipper

 Here you got that nice topo bright, yellow inside really lights up the bag, so you can really see what's at the bottom, so you don't lose anything and then at the top we have another quick grab pocket here. This one kind of goes over the top of the bag, depending on how much you have it packed out. If you got these tightened down more, it's gon na lay a little bit flatter here, so you can have more access to it. Otherwise, it'll kind of be behind the back your neck, which is you know, not a bad spot for a more safety conscious people just so it's harder to get into it, while you're wearing it

 Then you're gon na have on the classic, and it's just got like a kind of like slick feel to it. So the water should bounce right off of that. But again as with all these the same sort of organization, you have you know the stretchy water bottle pockets and compression straps, although they are metal on this one. But it's all sort of the same and then in this middle pocket

 One and two, and then a small, a couple, little loops in front of that. If you want to like clip your keys to one of these just so they don't fall to the bottom of your pocket and then yeah. We have a couple smaller loops here on this other side, so a little bit of organization they're still not too much kind of keeps that minimal style while still having that more luxury feel and the back panel and shoulder straps on these are noticeably by a large Margin much more comfortable, it's really more thick dense, padding all over versus just having this kind of more like mesh. You know crunchy material, this real thick foam and so you'll kind of notice

 So, just a nice little day pack, we don't really need too much. As you can see, we just have a some mesh padding here, not the thickest, not the densest, but it'll get the job done.  So I replaced the regular drawstring with red and I put the internal. It's an internal small zipper pouch and we'll get a good camera close-up here in a second. This is a great location to put your toothbrush, your keys, your cell phone, anything you need to easily access while you're out on the trail. The Mission Rover series has a few common features across the entire line, namely three methods of carry. You have handles across all four sides, tuckable backpack straps, as well as a removable shoulder strap. Other key features include shoe pocket across the bottom on each of the three sizes, lockable zippers, and laptop sleeve for protecting tablets and laptops. The fabric is a waxed polyester canvas, and the Mission Rover comes in three sizes: 30, 45 and a 60 plus with a expandable 15 liters of additional storage

 Also, as we saw in the 45 liter, we've included a padded waist belt for added comfort to handle the additional volume that the bag may have.

 As we enter into the main compartment, you'll notice again nice organized storage with two large accessory pockets on the lid, another nice mono mesh pocket on the top, and then access to the main storage. Perfectly sized again for overnight gear, workout gear, heading into the office, or an overnight trip. The Mission Rover 45 is perfectly sized for those two to three day trips, as well as being a maximum legal carry-on size for an overhead bin or the trunk of a car or anything in between feature sets on the 45 include until the lockable zippers we have laptop sleeve with visible mono mesh accessory pockets, storage for mouse cables, etc, dirty clothes or shoe pocket in the end. Internally, we've got clamshell style pockets on left and right side with mono mesh for easy visibility the contents of the pocket in here

MYSTERY RANCH Mission Rover Series

I'm giving it four stars instead of five because the side that has the shoulder straps doesn't sit flat against your pack. It tends to bow out and push the pack away from your back. Still, very happy with the purchase.

 It keeps things separate on the interior too small drain holes at the bottom, and they can ventilate. They can, you know, get rid of any moisture, that's inside. If you need all right now, opening the top area pull that open right here. There is some great space on the interior, some good organization in here, so these sides have like two big liner pockets one's about 1/3 and the others 2/3, and then there is a little kind of separator right here

 This will totally like hold anything inside just more of a note, this front pocket here. There is some organization on the interior here this isn't stretchy at all, but it's a reinforcement, stitch and there's a pocket here on the Left pocket here and then pen, pencils, stylus. Two of those so me, if I can just kind of get it open a little bit and you can maybe see it a little bit more, pretty big empty space at the bottom here and then we had this mesh on the side love this zipper. It'S very similar to like the Zoid cell zipper if you've read our review on that

 If you want to like. Stick, your laptop. You know it's a little bit big. I wish there was like a separate space to put your laptop with in here

 So that's magnetic and that will detach and then the thing I like about the mystery ranch. Try zips, is you just pull it and then you have access. One thing to know here is that these zipper coils at the bottom - and this happens in a lot of their other 3-way bags - stops right here, but the zipper coil kind of goes around. So I personally like, like the look of that - I think it looks nice but just note there is actually a little hole here kind of in the bottom or you can let get in there
