 That'S kind of like a bent spoke. This is for holding your chain when you rejoin one super useful to have that one immortal and it's a really nice secure, fit on the tools you're not going to lose that again. If you look up close you'll see, there are spoke keys on here for 14 and 15 G's and also there for a Mavic and a Shimano. So that's great a little extra feature

 Of course, this achievers focus is very useful for that purpose, and it also has a reaming tool and the prong for inserting those tubeless plugs into the tire. It also has an air saver. So when you do discover, you've got one of those punctures before you can actually get access to tool. You can jam that in the hole to stop any air coming out

 Is you get a pad spacer here? So if you need to do some work on your brake pads, maybe need to surprise them a pop again. You have the right tool for the job, also for traveling to the trails. If you drive, you might want to just bang that in. If you take your front wheel out, so that's really cool to see and again on the back of the chain tool there you see it has one of those power link splitters

The primary blade is 420HC steel and is partially serrated. First, the steel choice is disappointing; for a premium tool like this I'd think they'd use s30v, or at least 154CM. Second, I think the serrations are a poor design choice; I've never been a fan of serrations to begin with; a properly sharpened blade should cut almost anything that serrations would, but you've now sacrificed half your cutting edge and made the knife more difficult to sharpen. Given that you already have a saw and wire cutters, I think cramming a half serrated blade into the primary blade is a poor design choice

 If you don't have a Leatherman, I think the Charge TTi is a better overall tool for the same price. If you don't have a Leatherman and spend an extensive amount of time in the field with an AR-15, maybe this tool is for you.

 Second, I think the serrations are a poor design choice; I've never been a fan of serrations to begin with; a properly sharpened blade should cut almost anything that serrations would, but you've now sacrificed half your cutting edge and made the knife more difficult to sharpen. Given that you already have a saw and wire cutters, I think cramming a half serrated blade into the primary blade is a poor design choice.

 There are no scissors; although it seems like a wimpy feature, the scissors are probably the second most used tool on my Leatherman Charge. The 154CM wire cutter blades are replaceable, which is nice if you have a tendency to wreck your tools, and the hammer is a nice touch that's missing on other Leatherman tools. The MUT is definitely on the heavy side, nearly 40% heavier than the Charge TTi. The separate front sight tool that comes with the MUT is nice to have, but doesn't fit well in the sheath

  The MUT is a great step in the right direction for firearm enthusiasts and professionals. With that said I have begun using it and I am dissatisfied with the removable bits (the philips and torex bits have started to strip on first use.) The bits are probably not heat treated and for 179 dollars retail every part HAS to last. The MUT holder is also not constructed well

 The stitching starting to fall out after the first month of ownership. The scope wrench does not securely stay in place and is in high risk of being lost in the field (However the wrench itself does tighten my tactical scope very well.) As I have begun to use the MUT pliers more and more I am experiencing that the folding is loosening very quickly. This concerns me that after extensive use it will become too loose and eventually become a nuisance

I also noticed on one side of my pliers had the Leatherman logo ground a quarter of the way off (this is also a concern that the metal is not hard enough and was ground down too quickly during manufacturing.) Lastly the MUT doesn't have an option for a straight blade

 179 retail is too much to not have a straight blade option (however the blade is very sharp.) In closing this tool is extremely well thought out, however I would wait until a second revision is released before buying of this product.

I own just about every popular multi-tool out there; by far this is the best made multi-tool I have. Well designed and thought out, everything you need is there and very sturdy. It's a bit pricey for sure but this is one item that you get what you pay for. Excellent product and will recommend to family and friends

Does the job.

 While I don't mind the weight and size most of the time, I could see it being a hinderance if I'm wearing the wrong pair of pants. The size of damn thing makes accessing my pockets overly difficult. This would be a problem for me, but I wear carhartt double-knees 90% of the time because they fit better and are more durable for me than any other type of jeans I've tried. Lucky for me, they have the side carpenter pockets, which nicely holds the MUT

The pocket clip and belt cutter: It's so tight, I can barely pull it out of my side pocket

 I love the three bits, the inclusion of a saw, and the hammer tool. Some tools, like the brass and the punch will only see occasional use, while the bits and knife will see a ton of action.
