Tineco Pure One X Vacuum vs Dyson V12 Detect Slim

After using my daughters cordless vac I had high hopes in finding one that worked as well but this was not it. The suction was not powerful enough to clean the kitchen floor and the battery life was half what was expected. Returned and will try another brand.

Compared side by side, the V15 flagship is the clear winner in terms of performance, with far superior suction, but given the V12 Detect Slim comes with the headline-making features like the Laser Slim Fluffy cleaning head and the piezo sensor that ‘listens’ to what’s getting sucked up, but in a slightly cheaper package, there’s not much to complain about here.

Doesn’t work on kitty litter or piles of crumbs. Will all fall right out after you turn off the power. Power is only decent in power mode, which only gives you a whopping 12 mins.

To have a powerful machine that is both lightweight and cordless has definitely catapulted me into a new world...not trying to sound dramatic, but this is definitely a different animal

This vac works very well on low-pile rugs as well as floors, and is so light weight that even my elderly mother will use it occasionally. No more back aches from lugging around a full size vacuum! It’s as easy as sweeping with a broom, but with way better results! I also love that it converts to a handheld quickly and easily, light enough to vacuum the blinds with the brush attachment. It also has an attachment to vacuum off the pre-filter while using the second pre-filter that comes with it. The only potential drawback is that it isn’t exactly free-standing

The Xiaomi K15 Pro is only 1/3 of the price of the Dyson though…. I found both of them to be a bit heavier than expected. The V12 Slim was very light but far too small for my house. Is the Dyson the best for my needs?
