* Constraints: close to (but under) 25,26L. Really, the main constraint is that I find backpacks that are &gt; 18.5" tall usually look too big on me. Also, at this point in my life I mostly not doing multi-week backpacking travel anymore, and if I really need to one-bag/backpack a larger load (30+L) then I have an Osprey \~40L pack that I can easily under pack and compress

 So, if you're going to be riding your bike or something like that at night, it gives you a little bit of extra visibility. I like on this bag. It has more of a professional vibe, and you can see here that we have the compression straps down here at the bottom. So that's going to make the bag smaller, make it a little skinnier and give it a more professional look and i've got it pretty fully packed out just to show you how much we can get inside, but it really helps to thin it down if you'd, like So yeah just compression buckles here, just some duraflex hardware, if you like that uh you have elastic keepers here to manage the straps, which is really important for a bag

The pen organization mentioned in the description does not work well, as it's attached to the side with the laptop sleeve, and is very flimsy. I've taken to carrying a smaller zippered pouch inside my backpack for small items (gum, lipstick, etc), so they don't end up lost on the bottom of the bag and smooshed

Well-made, but could use more organization

 I think I speak for a lot of owners that if the build quality was improved, I would gladly pay more money for it. It's a really nice bag. But it's just not durable to handle the 5 days a week, heavy commute.
