We have a bunch of T2 products. I bought this to upgrade to a slightly larger bag from my 2010 XS messenger. While I liked the design changes, I almost sent it back because I thought the materials were less substantial than my little old tank, and I was afraid that it would not have the same durability. Good quality material but zipper design (too narrow) makes it hard to open bag wide for taking out cameras and larger objects

Widen and deepen the size of both the interior and exterior pockets to make them able to hold and conceal larger items. The front pocket area could be extended by 4-inches in width and 1 to 2 inches in height. 2. Put pockets in the face of the inside divider to distribute the load better

It's lightweight, has more organization than many older Bellroy slings, and it has that nice Bellroy design where it compresses down flat when you aren't filling it.

. not a viable option. And all the backpacks, totes and messengers, specifically made for art supplies have very mixed reviews and don’t even look big enough to hold everything

20l is plenty and if I need smaller the Bellroy Sling steps in. Every other backpack I own is just heavy and bulky. The Bellroy has enough pockets - I don’t need an external water bottle holder as there isn’t one. The bag helps me keep it light and carry what I really need
