Thule EasyFold XT 2 vs Ergotron LX Desk Monitor Arm

Great design but not for every bike. I have a Trek Powerfly 4 eBike which I love. The ramp does make it easier to get the bike on the rack but tough for 1 person. Takes 2 to really guide it up the small included ramp

TL;DR: want the white version? Want to mount directly to the desk, without a clamp? You'll need another part, and that's neither inexpensive nor easy to figure out. First, I'm happy with the arm, basically. It isn't quite as easy to relocate as I'd hoped, but I've been tinkering with adjustments and I'm getting close to what I want. 75” deeper - and our bikes have only 2” tires, they aren’t fat tires, which others have complained about. Third con is trivial but there isn’t any way to secure the ramp in place once the bikes are on, I just dropped the ramp into a depression in the middle of the rack and held it in place with a bungee cord; that shouldn’t be necessary on an expensive rack like this. In summary: this is a very good rack but it could be improved.

Relatively lightweight with a folding design that collapses for storage or when not in use. The loading process is somewhat complicated and the ramp is too short when used with a truck or Jeep. The bike frame attachment system isn't very adjustable. Lots of plastic and moving parts, we have some durability concerns

I'm using an Ergotron LX with my Dell UP2715K. It holds very well after some initial adjustment. In my opinion it's worth the higher price to support heavier monitors without issue. I am in the market for another 5K Dell if you decide to sell

The bottom plate could be wider, too, at least 4" to put some space between the bikes. We had to put something between our bikes to keep them from getting banged up. The straps that hold the tires in place are wayyyy too short. I have no idea why they wouldn't offer a choice of strap sizes

Whoah. When I first started shopping I could not believe the prices of the LCD swivel mount arms in general. I was prepared to pull out my grandfather's Erector Set and start fabricating my own hack-job of a monitor stand, or go to Home Depot, buy some metal banding, hinges, cinderblock, screws, and some OSB to fabricate my own industrial-style workspace for about 25% of the price of a fancy swivel alone! But after thinking reasonably and logically, I realized that I may as well invest something that suits the aesthetic of others as well as myself. because I don't always work alone

The ramp is somewhat useless because it’s flimsy and moves around when attached to the rack. It’s hard to keep in place. My bike weighs 52 lbs without the battery. When placing it on the rack the tires do not stay very well in the tracks

The arm works great and supports my 27” Wacom Cintiq, for the price I would have expected a vesa mount to come with it. The vice portion is sturdy on top but a bit underwhelming below and doesn’t close tight enough to fit most desks, I had to put a piece of wood beneath it. Also there is no padding for the top which I remedied with foam to stop it digging into my desk. Product works great, I just feel for the price of it, it should come with higher quality desk mount adjustments

It's a tight squeeze fitting 2 ebikes on this rack, but we did it. Hopefully, we'll be able to travel with it. I think it's time someone comes up with a rack for fat tire Ebikes!!! PLEASE!!!

Cannot give it 5 stars for 2 reasons. The price is outrageous and the ramp that comes with it is too short for an suv. I think since they are including the ramp it should be one that works for all vehicles. In order to use the feature of the ramp you have to either rig yourself a longer addition or buy an additional longer ramp for $80

Just spend the 200 dollars and get something better, with a wider, more easily done degree of adjustment.

Purchased this rack for my ebikes because I liked the design. When I went to use it for the first time, everything went well until I tried to load my second bike. The space between the bikes wasn't wide enough to accommodate the 2nd bike. I have two 20 inch, foldable bikes with wide 4 inch wheels and I simply could not get them to fit

Trying to mount a 49" 1000r curved super ultrawide? Wrong arm. You want the hx arm with the HD head that's meant for that specific monitor. Anything larger than a 27" ultrawide should be on an hx arm. The lx is meant for smaller or non curved monitors
