Check out the Thule Accent. I used it to carry just about the same items to work and back - including the MX Keys keyboard.

I'm working from home and in the office off and on for the next several months. I'm lugging a 15 inch Dell Latitude, 17 inch MX Keys keyboard, a docking station, and a MX masters mouse back and forth currently in a bankers box. 

I need a bag that can accommodate those and as a bonus if the bag could also fit my 13 inch personal laptop. It should look more professional than casual.

I really like the sfbags cargo messenger but after emailing the support I found out my keyboard wouldn't fit in that bag or any other of their bags (tech folio looked decent too).

My budget is $500, I'm hoping for something in the BIFL quality area and prefer the messenger bag styles. This is a personal purchase and I would like to be able to have functionality for travel too. I would have pulled the trigger on the cargo if it was slightly bigger for an idea of what I'm looking for.

I checked out Saddleback because I love leather but the bags just didn't seem functional enough.

 The straps are really wide and super comfortable. I am tall and this bag is pretty tall too, and I like backpacks that extend down lower than my belt line so that it distributes the weight kind of below my hips (does that make sense?)

At some point I considered one a bit bigger and I was looking into the [Thule Accent 26]([URL REMOVED] for which there's a [new model]([URL REMOVED] that doesn't have the straps at bottom (something I liked).

EDC recommendation

I live in SLC, Utah and work in Tech Sales which should provide some context to the collection. My everyday carry is the Aer Tech Pack 2 which recently replaced my Thule Accent 28L that I had for about 5 years. Outside of that, the other 2 bags that I love and use the most are my Thule AllTrail X 15L (for hiking) and the Thule Chasm Duffel for all of my weekend car camping adventures.

 We spend so much of our lives going from A to B. Why not be efficient, organized, and comfortable with a well designed backpack along the way.

 I am using this bag now, really due to the cost and some of the pros I list below, but overall I regret this purchase. The fact that it has a zipped section at the top of the bag, that can be accessed if the bag is under the seat on an airplane or in the overhead bin, without pulling the bag out is an AWESOME idea. However, overall the bag design is a disappointment to me. The opening of the main compartment is strange and then because of the compartment at the top, the main compartment flap becomes top heavy

 Now this backpack size dimension, it's around 12.2 inches by twenty point one inches. The Tula X and the backpack 28l contains six compartments. Let's start from the top on the top

 Here we have the dual access through the notebook area. This is the notebook area where you can put your 16 inch Macbook in here. Yes, but this is long enough for a 17 inch notebook and the front and back of both. Pad it so you can access from the side and you can access from the top

 So let's guess let's get into it. The special feature of this backpack, well it's that it has dual access 4g laptop so you can actually have a sigh access Here you can have a normal top access from the top. Now this backpack size dimension, it's around 12.2 inches by twenty point one inches

 Yes, but this is long enough for a 17 inch notebook and the front and back of both. Pad it so you can access from the side and you can access from the top. Now, coming down on one side of the backpack, there's another compartment here. This compartment can kind of house something thin, something long in the front, so that's an extra compartment

Thule Accent Backpack 28L Review

This bag is pretty cool but be warned; the zippers are pretty awful. After one of the mine bent and almost broke off during use, I stopped using it. I use the Aer Travel Pack and Aer Duffle Pack 2, and while they’re more expensive, they are SO much more reliable. Not a plug
