The North Face Borealis Mini Pack vs Thule Accent 28L

I originally purchased this bag for hiking. It fits my water, juice, snacks, sunglasses, and other essentials comfortably. The side pocket on the outside is too small for your water bottle. I currently use it for a travel size bug spray

I live in SLC, Utah and work in Tech Sales which should provide some context to the collection. My everyday carry is the Aer Tech Pack 2 which recently replaced my Thule Accent 28L that I had for about 5 years. Outside of that, the other 2 bags that I love and use the most are my Thule AllTrail X 15L (for hiking) and the Thule Chasm Duffel for all of my weekend car camping adventures.

The straps are really wide and super comfortable. I am tall and this bag is pretty tall too, and I like backpacks that extend down lower than my belt line so that it distributes the weight kind of below my hips (does that make sense?)

I had to take off the one star only because my water bottle can’t fit into the side pocket.My water bottle isn’t very big but it looks like even a plastic water bottle might have a problem fitting in there.The pack itself is a pretty color and very lightweight and comfortable.I needed a small backpack instead of a purse to carry my essentials for my daily walk to and from work and this is perfect for that!

Check out the Thule Accent. I used it to carry just about the same items to work and back - including the MX Keys keyboard.

I am really disappointed. Banded in the description I thought this bag could hold a 15” laptop when in reality it can not hold much. I want to know what can be done about this

Especially the side zipper for your laptop. you dont have to open the whole pack and can access/put away easily. i have had a few issues though. three things that are a bit discouraging
