 I just needed a mouse, not a LED light show or elaborately designed piece of art. This has decent size and is comfortable. The DPI modes are easy to select as well. My only complaint is that when using it on my Macbook Pro it takes 3-4 second to wake up if I step away for a few minutes

Best Wireless Mouse - GearLab

It's probably too early to write a review having just gotten this mouse today. First off I'll say it's bigger than I thought, in the photos it looks like a laptop sized mouse but it is a full sized mouse. My hand will have to get used to that after being used to a smaller mouse.  However it looks nice, feels good in the hang, had no issues connecting to my macbook pro, tracks as well as anything else, and was only $14

Functional and comfortable

 The price caught my eye, too: Under thirteen bucks. The reviews were mixed but I decided to give it a try.  The tracking is smooth and it works on my bare desk, my mouse pad, my thigh, and the arm of my leather lounge chair. I didn't spend time testing it on other surfaces such as mirrors; why would I ever want to use it on a mirror? All the buttons click and register with a good feel but a bit more volume than you might desire if using it in a shared space

 If this were a function I was going to use I would prefer a slide selector on the bottom of the mouse rather than a button on the top with a flashing light indicator whose meaning has to be memorized.  The scroll wheel works very nicely with a perceptible but smooth click as it rotates. Nothing's as good as scrolling with a touch surface but as physical scroll wheels go the one on this mouse is fine. I liked the scroll wheel tilt/left-right scroll/left-right buttons on my Logitech MX1000 mice but if I wanted more buttons I guess I would have looked at some other mouse instead of the BM306

  I haven't owned this mouse long enough to verify the claimed battery life but the mouse has three progressive, automatic, and very aggressive sleep modes so I wouldn't be surprised if a single AA battery were to last 15 months. I use rechargeable batteries so it will be a bit shorter for me but as long as it lasts a few weeks I'll be satisfied. In fact, I wish I could disable or at least adjust the mouse's power-saving behavior because while it wakes up with a click and reconnects to my Mac in just a second or three I'd rather that it not go into sleep mode in the time it takes me to walk to the bathroom, do number one, and walk back to my office. This is the only real complaint I have with the mouse and it's a very minor issue

I wanted to wait to see how long the battery lasted. Truly 24 months?? I use my mouse a LOT.  more wireless mice should offer something similar. it's great. Lastly, Shape and versatility. The Viper Ultimate shape works for a lot of grip and hand styles, but most importantly, buttons on both sides of the body make it one of the few viable choices for players with wider accessibility needs or limited mobility, which is fantastic to see from an inclusivity perspective

 With the viper, Ultima, Razer showed that they have the potential to move the industry forward in a significant way two years on. I hope we don't have that much longer to wait until we see just how far ahead of the competition our hair can charge this time.

 That being said, I think I can start with the mouse feet. For a mouse of this price from Razer, there really isn't a good reason that they haven't been improved yet. They're thin, scratchy, and glide poorly. If you're buying the Viper Ultima, I would suggest you add a set of aftermarket skates to your order immediately to get the most from your purchase

 Firstly, Availability 2020 and 21 has seen availability become a major factor when considering tech purchases whether it's Gpus, Next Generation Consoles, final Mouse Drops, or even something like the latest G Wolves, Rts Wireless products are getting more and more difficult to reliably find. There is absolutely a premium in knowing that the Razer Viper Ultimate is available on demand from almost any major retailer or online store, and as a consequence is easy to replace or return if you have any quality control issues. Next positive would be the real price. Now this comes with a caveat: I don't think 150 Msrp advertised is a good deal for this mouse, but the reason I'd suggest this is positive is because I don't think I've seen the standard black edition sold at that price in months, with it selling as low as 99 us dollars with the dock on Amazon in September 2021

Razer Viper Ultimate Review, 2 years at the TOP or WASHED champ? Honest thoughts in 2022

 You can test this online.  + This is my first wireless mouse and I'm pleased to say that wireless feels just as responsive as wired mode. VERY nice to not have to deal with a wire anymore and not have any downsides.  + Good customization within Synapse such as button programming, lighting, power-saving mode threshold, custom DPI, lift-off distance, etc

  - Just a few days in and, though still good, the mouse wheel has slightly lost some of it's snappiness in it's scroll and the left and right clicks have developed a slight give. Somewhat nitpicking here, but I would really hate it if the mouse felt like crap to use in just a few months. For the price, this things should be rock solid for years and not develop that mushy cheapness.  - Didn't think I would, but I constantly press the sidebuttons on the right side when I'm aiming (I use it in my right hand)

5/10 (subjective and also still getting used to the shape so likely to go up, but hitting sidebuttons accidentally sucks - also my first ambidextrous)  Feedback: 8.5/10 (this will get lower if the shell quality doesn't hold and the snappiness diminishes)  Quality: 8/10 (mostly concerned about long-term quality here as left/right buttons already have some slight give/shake to them after a few days of use and the scroll doesn't feel like it's going to hold it's feeling of precision and snappiness in it's steps - otherwise though, pretty solid)  Software: 7/10 (good options but a little too bloated - can thankfully choose which software you'd like to install)  Value: 7/10 (I got it on sale for $120 but I think it's worth more around $100 - if it was perfect for my hand and grip, $120 would be kind of okay maybe, however twice the price of the wired is high enough - full price is simply too much and in the end, I might come to regret not just buying two $60 mice and a bungee)  Currently, this mouse is hovering around an 8 or 8.5/10 for me. This is likely to go up to a 9 with use and as I get used to it's size and shape, just as long as quality and performance stays the same as it is now

 They are about the same "speed" as normal switches. Latency isn't better or worse. You can test this online.  + This is my first wireless mouse and I'm pleased to say that wireless feels just as responsive as wired mode

Great so far but with a few issues that should be noted.

 Razer, 2019 is the year you came back hard. I love what you’re offering and I really hope 2020 brings as much if not more innovation to your future product lines. You guys are champions, once more.
